@paige I don’t remember the exact date, but I was accepted at the end of January and claimed CTC/ACTC/EIC. My husband is the IS and is the only one with an income so I don’t know if that has anything to do with it…like it just gets passed through since there are no calculations to make? 🤷🏻‍♀️

Thank you guys for the responses! Last year when i amended my return on 2/22 i recieved check in mail on 4/16 which is roughly 8 weeks so not too bad when i was expecting a 16 week wait. I have been checking my tt card daily after checking wmr and have been disappointed daily. I cannot access mine or my husbands transcripts online or mail. Acemommy when were you accepted? Do you claim any credits?

The longest I’ve waited for a refund having filed IS is 7 weeks. Last year was the quickest at 3 weeks. This year was 6 weeks but I blame that on the shutdown and back up. My DDD is for 3/6.

2nd year filing for IS. Last year sent by mail, this year, I e-filed with Injured Spouse form via TT and was accepted 1/30. Got take action 1541 on WMR on 2/7, stuck there until 3/1 when WMR changed to Refund has been accepted and being processed but no DDD. Hoping I get update end of this week… but if I am being honest, I hope I just suddenly get the money DD, lol! From what I have read, WMR is not reliable source of when to get refund, transcripts are best way to find out. I do not have access to online transcripts, tho :(

                      Filed 1/24/19
                      Received/Processing 1/25/19
Updated to 1541 code take action 2/15/19

I never got the path message for child tax credit it stayed on processing and switched straight to Take Action Now 1541 call

                      2/13/19 got my state refund

I called once a day about 10 times to see the different responses id receive and i sure did get plenty i was told i was chosen out of the bunch for a no reason further review…then i was told my job didnt report my w2. Then i was told a different day there backed up and id wait untill 5/12/19 they will send a letter and wait 45 days after that to respond to the letter i just gave up looking and said ill just wait. i dont want a tax advocate if i do irs can no longer talk to me anymore so just wait . so on
2/28/19 i called got the same stories i gave up calling i knew i owed noone i called offset number to make sure i even know i filled 8 years straight with my same jobs and one child same address nothing changed i never had a issue before any other year i gave all documents as far as social birth etc and so on
3/1/19 i check wheres my refund out of no where and it said accepted my federal
                      3/4/19 refund in bank account

My advice don’t let those people scare you I learned there trained to not tell us whats going on just have patience and wait. Also i did research go on social security.gov make sure the money u earned this year is correct for 2018 return if not u call the job and make them report it to irs so u dont wait 45 days for irs to call for u just do it by yourself i did it. And also call the irs offset number meaning u dont owe any debt like school bills and so on 1800 304 3107. That was my experience
