I file for several people & some have received a DDD of 02/22 & some are still on the being processed etc . I am going to post below the “Filing Date” , “Accepted Date”, “Refund Amount” & DDD if available :
$5,311 01/25 01/25 02/22
$5,047 01/25 01/25 02/22
$6,026 01/30 01/30 02/22
$6,273 02/03 02/03 02/22
$7,117 01/28 01/29 02/22
$2,808 01/26 01/28 02/03-PATH
$5,372 01/28 01/29 02/09-PATH
$9,753 01/30 01/30 “STILL”
$2,856 02/04 02/04 02/09-PATH
$1,043 02/10 02/10 BARS
$8,744 02/10 02/10 BARS
$3,031 02/12 02/12 “STILL”
The people who have “still being processed” we know have an offset , so maybe that has something to do with the difference in “being processed & Still being processed”.
All of the above filers receive credits and were on the PATH hold .

@leslie and leslie are not the same… I am registerd. Also… to clear things up Yes you can figure out when you will have your DDD by when transcripts become available, it is a system process and not random and the IRS is not “doing whatever they want” Read the manual, learn how it works and watch when cycles update and unless you are pullef ro some reason then you process in a cycle batch in a very orderly way. Today 05 pathers who didn’t update last week because path lifted after they had the weekly run were finished processed today. In a few hours you will see them start dropping with 846 codes on transcripts and into tomorrow, then Saturday those same people will wake up with DDD’s for 2/27 because that is the batch they are in. Path is not new. This year is exactly the same in the exact same pattern as every other year. The ONLY difference is that Path fell off at the end of a week and weeklies have to wait several extra days to finish processing. I just cannot believe the amount of complete fluff that is posted on here. People get impatient and cannot be bothered to actually educate themselves on the answers and so it must be the IRS is just doing whatever they want because that certainly makes more sense. Seriously, I try to help on here and it’s exhausting answering the same questions that scrolling for 2 minutes would solve.

she placed me on hold**

So I just got off the phone with a rep from the IRS (who I might say was extremely nice … very unexpected)
But i told her my situation of the WMR saying that I will get my full refund tomorrow but TOP saying there is a debt and she placed me on whole and looked into it for me.
When she got back on the phone she reassured me that there are no offsets/debts. She stated that it is scheduled to be deposited into my account tomorrow and she even was able to advise me as two which account number it would be deposited into.
She told me I have nothing to worry about, and that she hoped she eased my mind.So I am really happy about that.

@Leslie you are correct in prev. years you could estimate a DDD by when your transcripts became available but not this year .
-
February 21, 2019 at 3:31 pm #4291430Leslie
@taxprep I’ve watched this kind of stuff for SO many years lol. This year is literally random. It used to be once you could see your finished return transcript you’d have the money within a week. Mine were all done, ssa has wages, etc by the 12th, but nothing. I know it helps talking to people who are dealing with the same thing as yourself, but nobody has an answer this year. All completely random.

@Leslie exactly my reason for posting this information . It was just to reference and ease the minds of people comparing their tax situations to others who filed the same day .
The IRS is doing what it wants this year, no real pattern that I have noticed .

@Jay I would think you were a weekly by you tax situation you described . My husband is a weekly ( we file separate ) he filed & was accepted on 02/06 – he has the “refund being processed” msg with no other movement . We are expecting WMR to update this weekend with his DDD of either 02/27 or 03/01 .
Fingers crossed you get some information soon . It sucks not knowing .

February 21, 2019 at 3:20 pm #4291389Leslie
Well I filed mine and my friend’s 10 minutes apart on 1/29. Both PATH, both EIC and ACTC. We both said IS being processed. Last sat she changed to a DDD of 2/22 and had an offset message at the bottom. I do not have any, or bad codes.
So we both said IS being processed, both path, both same day, she has offset and I don’t…But she got a date and I didn’t. Oh and her refund is 4,xxx. Mine 5,xxx. So not even a full thousand apart. There’s no way to tell anything this year.

@Tax Prep
I would believe you know more than us people who are just filers waiting for a refund for sure i Need this money for sure it’s crazy tho because a friend of mine filed last Monday and has a ddd for the 2/25 on wmr I’m hoping I get the update Saturday because I’ve only seen that one update the 16th to the bars and topic disappearing so I figure maybe ima weekly idk
-
February 21, 2019 at 2:51 pm #4291284Tax Prep
@jay I would believe so . I have informed most of my clients that did not receive a DDD last weekend to expect an update this Saturday / Sunday .
Most of the above people with DDD of 02/22 updated WMR on 02/17 .
As you stated I have now way of knowing for sure — but my guess would be look for an update this weekend for DDD next week .

@Jelly yeah I am sorry you are having to deal with this crap . I know the frustration of dealing with the IRS . I have been filing returns for 14 yrs now & have my fair dealings with the IRS .

That sucks and is so unfair to people. That is the only thing holding my tax return up. The advocate said hopefully they don’t put me under review for it. If so I would need to reach out to them. This is exactly why I don’t work for that company anymore. All they do is play with their employees.

@Jelly most companies have until 01/31 to report the W3 to the IRS , some do not meet that deadline & will receive penalties from the IRS . Its sucks for you but there really isn’t much you can but wait it out .
Hopefully the company reports prior to you needing a TA .
The IRS just started cracking down on income verification . Prior years they would process returns & issue refunds without receiving information from the company . The problem comes in when someone makes a fake W@ and submits to get a large refund from federal withholding’s they did not actually pay .

So I just got off the phone with a Tax Advoate, one of my jobs didn’t report my income!!! How does a job not report your income from working for them. I’m totally lost. I can’t even get a Tax Advocate until after Feb. 27th. I’m super stressed!!😥😪

February 21, 2019 at 1:42 pm #4291061Tax Prep
@stephanie : From all my past experience as long as WMR is showing the full refund amount then you should receive it .
I will admit I have only prepared and filed tax returns in the state of TX & am not familiar with any state refunds or debts etc. as we do not have state tax.
If you have previously received state funded unemployment & they report an over payment they will take that amount from your refund.

WMR Gives me my Full Amount with a DDD Of 2/22.
When I call TOP says I have a debt to the State of CT and it MAY offset my return. Gives me phone number but no amount.
WMR doesn’t say anything about an offset or tax topic. -
February 21, 2019 at 1:33 pm #4291023
Thanks for the insight
-
February 21, 2019 at 1:29 pm #4291011Tax Prep
@stephanie , Does WMR show any updated information ? If you are able to see your DDD on the WMR website it should show the refund amount . It would also state if there was any portion of your refund offset for a past debt .
Are you able to view your transcripts ? If so it will have a code showing the offset & the amount .
When you call the IRS offset line (1800-304-3107) it should provide a name & number of the company reporting the debt ( Student loans , TWC debts etc..)
If you are being told there is a debt I would prepare for the worst & hope for the best .

My refund was approved DDD of 2/22 I have no Tax Topic but i still called TOP.
TOP says that I have a debt and it may be taken. Doesn’t have an amount.
I’ve been calling TOP all week and nothing came up until I called this morning.
Any ideas? -

There’s no identifying info, no boundary issues. Thanks op for the input.

February 21, 2019 at 12:09 pm #4290739Tax Prep
@mommajess I have no reason to lie . I literally posted for reference . As you can see I have some clients that I filed for on the same day with different update situations .
Some have a DDD of 02/22 & some have no updates .
I see why so many people now complain about this site .
Just FYI I file for several people who do not receive credit & they have all received their refunds .
-
February 21, 2019 at 12:05 pm #4290728Mommajess
Not sure if we should believe the post or not…I filed and got accepted 1/29 at 2 am, and I have “is being processed” since 2/16. No funds in SBTPG yet either…hoping this isn’t BS cause I want everyone including myself to get their returns. But I feel like this would be crossing some sort of boundaries since the tax return amount is posted for each set of dates.

Haha @cody good one –but I have never worked for H&R block & OH YEAH I work a full time job ….so I do not have time to come back to this post & respond all day ( I do not receive notifications from this sight). If you couldn’t determine the only thing not listed in the correct order was the refund amount — this post can’t help you .
Now on to the real questions :
I have no affiliation with the IRS & cannot answer questions related to your personal taxes .
I just posted this for reference & so people could see the IRS is not processing by the date the return was received – as you can see I have filed for some people in Jan & they still have not updates etc ….I am only assuming on the “Still being processed” because the 2 clients that have that msg know they have an offset this year .

OP took a two week course from HR Block then posts this worthless information that isn’t even in the order they stated it was going to be in the description. Then proceeds to not answer any questions about their shitty data.

Filed 1/28
Accepted 1/29 had the one bar (Accepted bar) until 2/2 then it went to the STILL PROCESSING a refund date given when available and I DON’T have an offset. Last year I did and I didn’t get my return until October. I ordered my account transcript when it came it showed all zeros with the code 971 I also received an ID VERIFY LETTER code 0571c on 2/19. I spoke with a representative on 2/20 she verified me and stated that I was good to go give it 9weeks but u can check in 2weeks. -
February 21, 2019 at 9:54 am #4290242iamapiano
I have a federal offset and I don’t have “still”. It’s just “We have received your tax return and it is being processed”. I don’t think there’s any rhyme or reason this year. It’s ridiculous.
-
February 21, 2019 at 9:49 am #4290219
So, in your opinion…
Thanks for sharing this by the way!
If I filed and accepted around the time the first person on the list did (pather) knowing there are no federal offsets, and I’m stuck on “is being processed” since 2/16 without an update on wmr or any ddd…why would that be, or what’s the most likely issue? If you’re able to answer it that is, I’m just worried because I know there are glitched and things that happen and it’s just the non-updating that’s worrying me. If I call I want it to be after the 27th so they can’t tell me the usual generic path bs. As clearly, based on PATHers having deposits already this isn’t the case for everyone even tho they say that!
