You’re refund date will be…………the day the irs deposits it, whenever the hell that is. I’m broke as the rest of you motherfuckers, but I’m so sick of reading your bullshit theories and conspiracies. Come with FACTS or don’t come at all!!!

I work well over 40 hours a week and I’m waiting to pay my son’s college tuition with this refund. I can not help the gov robbed me so much they owe me money. They take their money every week. Why can they not return the favor? This is my second post ever, but I feel the need to because you, my friend, are a troll that needs to get a life. If you do not want to read then move the hell along.

Too bad there are no like buttons here. There are some good positive comments here, despite the beginning negativity. 😊

I’m going to have to agree with Larry that some of the posts on this forum are a little dramatic talking about “what the hell is going on? I still dont have my dd that is scheduled for 2/22! Hello?!? Last I checked today is 2/20…”
Or the IRS is so messed up this year, last year I already my dd by now, or last year this and last year that…
Just because the IRS said a certain date last year and it came earlier, doesnt mean anything is wrong at this time this year. The IRS was on bare bones staff up until the day they officially opened this year. They released an official statement that most PATH filers would start to see their refunds hit banks and cards starting on the 27th. People are starting to update and get DDD and some even getting money on cards already. We still have this weekend to update and see refunds next week, the week of the 27th.
Dates fell odd this year, the 15th was on Friday, giving less time to push some PATHers for an update on Saturday. I cant imagine what this place will be like next year when the 15th is on a Saturday.
I agree that the 1541 and 9001 was different this year and made those who had those codes a little edgier. I honestly believe that the IRS systems are NOT fully equipped to handle the dynamics of the PATH hold as accurately or transparently as many of us would like it to be. At the same time, I also believe there is a little “mystery” left in place to leave fraudsters just as confused as legitimate filers. Is it inconvenient? Yes! But I bet if people were stealing YOUR money you’d be doing your best to prevent it… some might even disagree that your methods are NOT the best…Now please allow to clarify that i dont say any of this to discount anyone’s stress or dire need for their refund. I understand because I have been there. I empathize with the lack of sleep and anxiety that comes with wondering if you’ll be able to keep your power on or replace that tire with a slow leak and the list goes on.
But can we all take a deep breath, take a step back and realistically assess the FACTS available to us, compare them to where we are at today at this time and wait to totally freak out UNTIL AFTER the “promised” dates have passed?
I really do wish everyone the best of luck, blessings, karma, whatever you believe in and hope that we get our refunds soon!

@666
You have no clue what is going on in anyone’s life here. This tax return could finally be affording them the opportunity to have a surgery or move. If you don’t want to read the posts, don’t. No one will even notice! It will be great! Go ahead… Give it a try! 😂🤣

LOL U people act as if the IRS has wronged you in some way. It’s not even past most y’alls DDD yet your acting like you should already have your refund. Just cuz it was like that in previous years doesnt mean a damn thing. Quit whining and bitching and complaining on internet forums.
This isnt a “journey” we’re all in together…lol. we all wanna get paid but quit acting like the IRS is intentionally and personally holding your taxes hostage Mr. Joe Blow.
Maybe work 40+ hours like you do the rest of the year and manage to live off that. If you can’t do that, your irresponsible money management skills is a reflection of yourself, not the IRS.
QUIT CRYING.

So much easier to just ignore. Ppl want their money. Everyone isn’t as fortunate to not depend on a refund…we will all live with or without it, but I still want it because it’s my money 🤷🏽♀️

Matt bishop
I literally have no clue why people do this either. Takes more time to do this than ignore threads they don’t like.. -

My question is with people complaining…not calling you out, but if you see a topic you dont have interest in…move along? Idk seems like the easier method. You see the frustration people are having? Inaccuracies? It’s easy to throw shade at people just wanting realistic answer which as you have been reading it seems, are not what people are getting.
