I’m giving up. On taxes, …stimulus. Every year the IRS messes with Me. 2018 i didn’t file, why file? Every year they screw Me and never send me money make me wait. The one year I don’t file, this stimulus bites me in the ass. Now I file, and I’m processing for ever, no stimulus.

Every post I make on here, gets no replies. Why? Probably because no one knows the answers to me question. I was laid off in February, we couldn’t get parts from China. And now, I can’t even look for work. You know what would rock? Calling the IRS to get answers, but no. Can’t call, coz the X amount of workers from home, they can’t set them up with call support. And tbh getting on this website to seek answers, is only frustrating me more. So it’s time for me to except it, no refund, no stimulus. I woke up livid, blood boiling. Everyone but me got their money.

It feels like a elementary school play ground, your the only kid who can’t play , isn’t invited to the birthday parties. It just goes to show, for many, the only opportunity you’ll ever get, you have to make it. You have to make your own opportunity. So I need to figure out a hustle.

So here it goes, another post that won’t get any responses. Idk if it’s America that’s out to get me or just the IRS, but every year it’s something. Most years I’ve gotten money it’s been at least a year later. There’s really no point in typing this to make this public. Banging my head against the wall, for what? Others to see as well? IRS if your reading this, please have mercy on me, I’ve paid taxes since I was 14. Over 20 years. Please …have mercy on me and throw me the same lift raft you’ve thrown every other person. My patience is gone , I’m giving up. As in no checking WMR, not participating in the track my EIP. It’ feels like they see me as human trash.

Yeah you’ll feel better once your end is taken care of. In the mean time, use the Web portal when it’s up and get your stimulus check asap ;)

I started filing my 2018, and discovered I owe the state . So I’m assuming after a year, the state has issued a garnishment. So my 2019 will reflect that. Hopefully they will just take out the stage 100$ or so. And we all can move on, them and me.

Your last sentence is simply not true. The economic impact payment does not hinge on the status of your 2019 refund.

With the program, it does not rely on your tax return for the information. Even those who do not file returns at all can use the portal. There may be an issue with your 2019 return if you never filed 2018. Even if they owe you, they may need them in order. I’m not certain though. I think they can look and see “ok, he missed a year, but he doesn’t owe so oh well”. I’m not an expert but that’s my best guess.

If YOU didn’t file, how is that anyone else’s fault? It’s ok, they are developing software so you can give your deposit info. Don’t worry, the IRS will fix it for you.

I haven’t received either of mine, filed in January also 🤷
I have no choice to give up, trying to stay on top of it all so I’ll know what to expect.
Keep your head up I do believe it will all work out for all of us!!!

Man. I know how you feel. Everybody else getting stimulus checks and tax refunds. Some people have received both!! I been waiting on my tax refund since damn January and I’m getting mad too.

So some years you don’t file? The years you do file you get your money back correct? This year you will get your stimulus correct? How exactly are they messing with you?
