1/15 filed, accepted 1/19. One bar topic 152 while all these people have already gotten their direct deposit. Last year, year before that, and year before that I would of had my way before now.

Screw you guys, I’m going home.

Yeah, I just made this as a “I’m sick of being disappointed thread” so maybe others will just learn to check it once a day. In my eyes, if you don’t expect it to come a certain day you won’t be disappointed. All the people complaining and contacting the IRS are just people that consume themselves with drama, despite the actual few having REAL issues. I get that we are living in America, and like that commercial “Its our money and we want it now”, just stop for me please.

It’s just hurting me and others, and causing problems that will likely fix themselves and within a few months will be forgotten about entirely.

                  Yeah it’s pretty crazy.

My issue is that the irs is all over the place. It would be easier if they just gave us the status of our individual filings when we call and not wait 21 days.

Also the fact that ppl who filed the 20th haven’t gotten their refund but ppl who filed the 29th have is poposterous.

…There are obviously directives that the IRS staff get; however in the interest of cutting down on the waves of phone calls, the process should be better. If there are QA standars in place, the process will be reviewed once again and should run more smoothly next year….

I think next year, there will not be a problem for early filers – as long as you file AFTER 1/8/17. Overall, it should be a better process next year.

                      Waiting

Same here! It has never taken this long. Filed 1/22, Accepted 1/22. No DDD. And people who have filed on 1/29 have a DDD of 2/5!!!! Sucks!

I have found that being an early filer in the “test batch” or filing prior to IRS accepting has been a mistake for most.
In all years I’ve noticed those that file last week of January always get refunds faster than those that filed prior. I’m not sure why, but if I were you, next year I would wait until 1/27 and after. Seems worth it.

I know we are all frustrated! This is the worst year ever!! Filed and accepted 1/21. Still no updates on my WMR
