          thicks.. thank you for responding.
Hopefully, if that’s the case, the IRS will send me some correspondence so I can clear up any discrepancies.

Rod, I would think that a change to “Still being processed” signals a problem with your filing that needs to be resolved — like errors, additional information or ID verification.

I sent in a paper return in March. I received a notification via “Where my refund?” that it was received. this status remained until today. The bars are gone and the new message is now states Still being processed.
I’m thinking it’s because the IRS are focused on the stimulus checks.

Yeah that’s what I heard as well. Thank you for trying but I’m pretty sure that one month I had healthcare coverage is gonna cause me to owe about $60 bucks…Last year when I filed I apparently received a higher credit for healthcare than expected so my refund was cut in half since I had marketplace healthcare for that whole year. So last year when I did my taxes and figured out that my refund was affected so much I went to my healthcare plan and made sure my income was correct on my marketplace account so that I wouldn’t owe for this year. Well when I changed my income it shot my premium up from $50 a month to $280 a month. I had already paid the initial $50 premium since I had changed my income after I had paid but I couldn’t afford 280 every month for the rest of the year so I just didn’t pay it cause I saw no where that I could cancel my plan. So that one month of January that I had coverage I’m going to have to pay the difference which somehow comes out to like 60 bucks which is confusing in itself. I found that out by going to Turbo Tax and doing my taxes like normal and including my 1095a form but without filing so I wouldnt cause a double file situation and it only dropped my refund 60 bucks. It’s all so confusing and the whole healthcare marketplace was a joke form the beginning mainly because when you applied for healthcare for the following year it pretty much makes you guess at what your annual income for that year will be so an accurate tax credit is almost impossible based off that. So that one stupid month of healthcare that I had that I didn’t use is messing me up. The IRS has a copy of my 1095a so I’m hoping that whoever reviews my return sees how simple of a fix this is and just subtracts what I owe out of my refund and go ahead and approve it but I doubt my luck will be that good since it’s the IRS. Long story short, I have no healthcare and I’m a poor dude needing his refund that’s not getting it anytime soon lol

I just verified that there is no penalty for healthcare anymore. That’s why TT is not including this step. Hope this puts your mind at ease.

TT never prompted me to include this step either. To be honest, I don’t think it’s going to make a difference. I was told that law was repealed therefore verification wasn’t necessary this year. Is that not true? I vaguely remember being asked if I was covered when I filed last year- not so this year.

I didn’t file my 1095a and I’m in this situation. accepted on 1/13 and saturday my bars went away. I forgot all about my healthcare form cause my premium was still too high so I only paid the initial premium so only had coverage or “tax credit” for January. When I got my form January was the only column that had numbers on in and the rest were 0. But as soon as I got the form in the mail I knew I messed up cause I filed without it. A little upset with Turbo Tax though cause I’ve used them every year and never had a problem. Last year they prompted me to include the 1095a form so I didn’t miss that step and this year when I filed it never came up but oh well. I hate it cause I have a big bill due next week that I was hoping to pay with my refund but now I gotta wait to see how to handle this. It sucks cause I know what the issue is and it’s a VERY simple fix due to only have one month of coverage and credits to enter into my taxes so it could be fixed so simply and quick but its the IRS…no telling when I will get my refund now.

Funny thing happened to me. I am a weekly, have been for many years. On Friday about 1130pm cent I checked WMR and it said the dreaded “your return is still being processed a date will be given in the future etc. blah blah with a code 152.

So me being an idiot I start getting worried and check it 3-4 more times over the next 2-3 hours as I know it is supposed to update overnight into Saturday morning. Well I got to the point where it said I exceeded my checks.

Later today I got the brilliant idea to instead check the hotline and check WMR by phone to hopefully bypass the exceeding checks. Well according to the hotline I changed as I hoped it would to DDD 2/5/2020 as I wanted it too.

Long story short. Don’t freak out. Give things time before stressing over thinking you hit an ID check or some other flag that would cause things to stall.

I will check the online WMR tomorrow when my lockout is over to verify things but I am confident things are on the right track and funds are inbound.

This happened to me last year, it didn’t mean anything. It all proceeded along as normal. The systems can be over loaded from so many people checking, it could be the browser you are using.
