      Hello everyone ! I received a statement in the mail saying that I Owe , but when I call then offset line .. it shows no pending debt … is there a chance they will take my refund ? Also if I set up an arrangement will they still take it … I’m afraid if I call they will flag My account .

          Oh wow… I thought if you set up an arrangement they wont take your refund… :-( So sad..

            The offset line is only for debts other than federal, if you owe back federal taxes even on a payment plan they will still take whatever you owe from the refund.

            For example you owe 3000 in taxes and your refund is 5000

            You get the remander of 2000

            again even on a payment plan it doesn’t stop this
