      I was just wondering people who had to do the ID verify did you put your ID on your return on the site that you used like TaxACT are you did not put your ID on and that’s why you had to verify

          Yep entered ID info on taxact. Didn’t enter it last year and refund was processed quickly. Entered it this year and have to ID verify.

              We did both. We had the special ID PIN sent in the mail from the IRS
              that we had to put on the return, and they said that is just to get it accepted.
              Then we also ended up having to do the ID Verify also. (4883C).
              Had to do both things last year too.
