      Hello, I changed my phone number from my last year filing to this year filing, do you think that will trigger some type of identity verification? Or am I safe?

          You’re most likely safe man,

          I don’t think phone numbers trigger ID verify, due to people normally switching phone numbers numerous times a year..

          The real issue I think are addresses…

          If your address changed from the address you had last tax season I think will trigger ID verify, from my understanding…
