      Letter sent, but not received, They sent another, but last year i never got a letter and was able to verify without it, anyone have experience verifying without a letter this year

          Just tried to call in without the letter, brickwalled again i guess this year you have to have the letter. well they better send it to the right address this time

            I had 3 types of government ID, tax forms. That’s it. He asked questions like how I was getting my refund, direct deposit, and who my employers were. He just need that verification that I filed the return, and it was going to the correct place. He did say just because I’m verified does not mean that I have been through processing yet. So it begins again. If I haven’t heard anything in 9 weeks to call the irs. He said more than likely the WMR website won’t update. It really seems like the IRS is a mess this year!

              yeah my closest irs office is 120 miles away, id rather just handle it over the phone, but what all did you need to bring to them to verify?

                I didn’t get a letter because I moved. Called irs twice. The second time the lady gave me a number to call and make an appointment. I went to the IRS office yesterday. Took all of 20 minutes. Gave me the “it takes 9 weeks crap” he also said my WMR wouldn’t update. Just watch for money! Ha ha ha
