ID Verify? Really 9 weeks?

Did anyone that commented on here receive their refund and how long did it actually take? I was just able to verify my identity on November 17 wmr says “still being processed” I’m just curious how long after verification did anyone get their refund

I filed January 18th, finally got through to verify my identity on June 29th. Still says processing and waiting on my return as of 08/10/21.

I filed my taxes the day they could be sent in. I verified my identity june 12 and still no change. WMR saying still being processed. This is super stressful.

I filed my tax return 3/18 was accepted the next day..received my 5071C letter on 4/23..verified my identity on 4/29 due to time and work schedule..its been 4 weeks and my status still says “still being processed”. Has anybody else gotten their refund around that timeline?

Hi all.

I filed my tax return on 2-12, accepted 2-13. I recently received an ID verify letter after waiting in ERS for the 10 weeks, now that I have to wait to ID verify it is looking like 3-4 weeks at best and 9 weeks at the longest from what people are saying. My leaky roof could use the refund, hence me filing early. Time will tell when the IRS will get around to it. Peace, love, and happyness to you all.

waited 10 weeks in ers department when my 10th week was up i called. Was told protection program and I needed to verify my identity. I did that and now im being told an additional 9 weeks from then 10 I already waited. Oh an I livid

I had ID Verify on 03/04 and my transcripts updated 3/19 with an as of date of 04/05. I have a 570 code on mine which is probably due to the IS we filed. Stimulus updated to “you are eligible” message. WMR says “being processed”

I received my ID verify letter on 3/13 (Saturday). Called on 3/15, completed my verification was given the 9 week response. My status went from “still being processed” to “being processed” within 2 days. WMR had now updated to my payment hitting my account on 3/24. So what, 9 days not weeks lol 🤷 still haven’t received my stimulus tho 🙄

Well I updated to nothing nothing at all….filed 2/4 accepted 2/13 and nothing friday came and went

I id verified ..had a 5071c letter-going on 3 weeks ago now and the only change I have is WMR changed from ‘still being processed” to “being processed”…still N/A on transcripts. My current stimulus $$ is not even showing on account transcripts yet I received it last Saturday.

@Saintsdoll9 yea they give that time frame just in case something else comes up or they get delayed. It’s usually processed by 2-3 weeks. Just like the injured spouse claim, they ask for 11 weeks to process it, it usually takes 5-6 weeks and not 11. They just don’t want 1,000 phone calls about status checks and such.

Mine went from “We have received your refund and it is being processed. “ today. I talked to IRS yesterday and they said my identity was verified 3-11 and to give it up to nine weeks from that date

My transcripts are still at 03/15. It’s been at that date for 3 weeks so far. With our WMR changing, we should update tonight/tomorrow. We filed IS so even if we do t get a DDD, hopefully we see some kind of movement on our transcripts.

Got my transcript by mail the 12 th, ordered 3/07… as of date at top says 2/22…. processing at bottom with all the goodies is 3/08….I’ll b able to order another tomorrow… I seen no 570 or 971…😁🙏….

Verified Monday 3/15 status changed to being processed today instead of still being processed

@momoney we got our ID verify 3/4, verified same day and just for shits and giggles, I checked WMR and we went from still being processed to being processed over night. It longer says “a refund date will be provided when available”

I’m hoping this means movement is being made!!

I got the letter on the 12th and verified over phone. My wmr just changed this morning from still being processed to is being processed. So I hope this means I’ll get a date soon.

You get the letter first then either go online and verify or call the number listed on the paper. We did it online. Took 15 seconds. (We already have an online account with the irs tho)
