I had an offset and expected it to take much longer after verifying my ID.

ID Verify questions touched on 2015 and 2016 return, 2015 W-2, DOB’s, SSN’s, and questions only I should know the answers to (like have you ever lived on any of these streets, open a line of credit on these dates, loans with these banks). It was pretty in depth for me.

Agent I spoke with guessed ID Verify was triggered because I changed my bank account after having used the same one for years. No other changes to address, people filing, status, etc. Who knows.
