      accepted 1/31 tt. lost bar to your tax return is still being processed. a refund date will be provided when available. today i got a letter from irs dated 2/27 requesting forms 8962 and 1095a. i contacted turbo tax and they guided me through the process of generating the form and printing it out. the customer service rep told me that the only way the forms were attached to your return is if you payed for the “DELUXE VERSION” WTH!!!!. i faxed all forms today, now the waiting game. @GoFigure

            My kids had Medicaid/child health plus but I had the “essential plan” which is not Medicaid.

            The point is, double check your forms people!

            @everyone
            It’s also not wise to speculate on the reason why your refund is delayed, especially if you have not received any correspondence from them. Trust me. They will certainly let you know if they need anything from you.

              For people thinking marketplace is Medicaid or Medicare…it’s not. If u have those, u do not need to file the form

                Are you 100% sure about that’? Because I’ve been sitting here thinking my taxes are in review because I didn’t input my 1095B but if that’s not why then WHAT THE FUCK.

                  Just to clarify, not all insurance from the marketplace will require you to file a 1095. I received all 1095-B papers for my kids and myself, and 1095 – B does not need to be attached to your tax return. If you have received the form double check that it’s actually A and not B.

                  Short version:
                  1095-A = required
                  1095-B= NOT required

                    Lol.. that’sfunny. I always thought the paid versions were a bit overrated and overpriced.

                      Really? Wow. For that kind of money at least they should have the form for your situation.

                            1095 is for insurance ..if you have a marketplace insurance plan you are to submit the 1095 forms .I think.

                              I’ll be dumping Turbotax AND Quickbooks online too. There are free bookkeeping apps available for self employed.

                                          I used turbotax for the 1st time this year and of course I’m missing documents also. I also paid the $70 and they are not being helpful at all. The rep I talked too told me to wait for the system to fix itself?!?!.
