I updated GMP but received a paper cheque today!

So my gmp still has not updated but I have notice through Usps informed delivery of a paper cheque arriving when mail is delivered today.

I have a screenshot but unsure how to load it. I updated my Dd through the portal on april 15th and no updates since.

Fingers crossed this gives you some hope!

Suzy Q, I don’t think it should matter, because that’s a person who has worked here and filed taxes during the period in question: 2018-2019.

Lifelong U.S. citizens (who filed taxes over the past two years) will also get theirs. The arcane IRS procedures (some of which are needed while others should be adjusted) may be producing a delay, but the refunds and payments WILL come eventually.

Very interesting and not Zannah’a fault at all but, someone who wasn’t born in the US getting monies while life long US citizens getting screwed. Interesting call by the people in charge.

Just received a $1,200 check in the mail this afternoon. Money owed for personal massage services for an older couple from Schenectady. Post dated 4/26/2020. Hope this helps.

Thanks Zannah I have same status now I feel better knowing that someone with the same message has received theirs. I was frustrated not knowing rather it would be dd or mailed.

My fingers are crossed for all of the people and families that need this so very badly. It’s scary not knowing how you’re going to survive and not having clear answers fuels the anxiety that goes along with waiting.

While I don’t have answers, I can offer a small light at the end of the tunnel and hope I’m just the first of many to be reporting that they received funds today

I updated on April 15. I never changed from the message of you are eligible and a Dd will be provided when available. I was never given a deposit date or notification of paper cheque being sent
