Today I spoke with my tax preparer at Jackson Hewitt and she assured me that my state had been sent out already and that next week I may see my federal tax deposit since EIC is not even released until 3 weeks after the IRS is opened. This was after she reviewed my taxes again in her system since my concern to her was that I have no WMR bar, no tax topic 152, and no DDD. She informed me that there were no errors on my return snd that a lot of people are mistaken by the whole identity verification and or 60-day waiting period that may be the case for some. Right now patience is key and googling tax information in already stressful times is just increasing our anxieties.

It can’t be true **THIS YEAR** that PATH-affected returns were held for three weeks after IRS began accepting returns. Too many of us who took EIC have already gotten our refunds, and tomorrow marks the three-week point.
There was virtually no wait for PATH this year.
