So I’m a first time filer and I realized after my taxes were excepted that I put the wrong bank account number on my tax return. As soon as I realized I called the IRS and they said that once my return was approved they would try to deposit And it would be returned by my bank then the nice IRS lady told me to call the identification verification line. That was on February 1 the man at the identification line told me he couldn’t help me. I have no bars no tax topic. So I called again today they verified my identity they said it was clear but now they don’t know how long it will take to get my paper check because my direct deposit information is bad. Has anyone ever heard of this or accidentally put the wrong information. Or maybe has anyone asked for a paper check? Do you know how long it’s going to take? I’m only 18 this is my first job it’s very nerve-racking any advice will help thank you
