And I was told that due to EIC and ACTC I along with EVERY other individual with those refundable credits are in que for a 2/27 deposit (should be pending in banks between Friday and Monday).

She reiterated that it’s all automated, like the PATH message. EVERYONE with those credits are in que for 2/27

So I’m not sure what to think.about folks saying they have Dad’s of 2/21 and 2/22 with EIC and ACTC refunds…..

That person is not a i.r.s agent that is a call center. They tell you 27th to save asses. It’s automated refunds due to come out Friday will hit friday

Just like every other caller stated 🙄
I wouldn’t even after 21 days bother to call because it’s not going to speed up if give you any more than a GENERIC SCRIPTED message. Good luck with that.

@Ash I’m not Ryan. I dont even know who Ryan is. I have been using the same name this entire year when I post on here. Sorry that you are upset that you aren’t getting any information. I will gladly give you the number to call and try to get some information. I filed 1/18 with TT, IRS accepted 1/22 (actually 1/28 since that is when they officially opened). I have both the EIC and ACTC. My WMR updated on 2/2 with the Path message and on 2/16 with the “being processed” message. The past 2 years I got my return right around 2/22 with the credits. My husband had a heart attack back in Nov and I need my $$$ to pay bills so I wanted to make sure it would be soon, so I called today. First time I called was while I was on my lunch break and it said a 30-60 minute wait time so I called back after work. That time it was a 15-30 min hold so I just turned on handsfree and drove home. Ms. Reed had to verify a little of my info since my husband is the primary listed on the return and I’m secondary but was able to do so and noticed I was processed on 2/11 and then gave me the line they are told to tell everyone about the 27th and then said deposits are hitting in the week leading up to the 27th.

Yes, I’m calling you and your alter ego a liar. See when you have too many profiles and start threads using one name, you can’t reply back using the other. Dumbass.

That makes sense. I don’t think anyone can really compare it to recent years since we just came off the longest shutdown in history, along with a ton of new tax laws passed at the very last minute.

@Ash thanks for calling me a liar. I mean I just spent a 35-minute drive home from work on hold with the IRS to get the information I was given. Ms. Reed was very nice, polite, and informative. I can’t access my transcripts but she did let me know I was processed 2/11 and that the PATH returns should be in the bank by the 27th with most showing up in the week leading up to the 27th.

I don’t believe anyone spoke to a real nice agent and we’re given that information.

It’s really what you want to believe. You think your idea is so fantastic that you decided to start a thread called ” I just spoke to a really nice irs agent” basically your full of it😆 pathetic!

I bank with Chase and my WMR ddd is 2/22…nothing as of yet. I doubt it will post before Friday though. They never post anything early unless it’s a deposit for Monday and they have it pending Saturday but make it available to use

Actually it sounds about right! A queue and that is why ddd and dd will continue to roll as she stated from this Friday the 22nd on…

That is wholly incorrect. I have numerous past years with a deposit on February 22nd, and one on February 19. I always file ASAP when my husband’s W2 comes in, I’m a habitual early filer, and yes, we claim the EITC and ACTC for our 2 kids.

The deposit is like clockwork around 2am EVERY SINGLE YEAR, I save my deposit email alerts for a reason, and my bank (Huntington) identifies who every deposit comes from.
My WMR-supplied DDD is 2/22/19, and I have no reason to think otherwise with the well-established track record.

Last year’s deposit information via email is this, copied and pasted directly FROM that email with any of my IDing information removed:

Just a heads up for you. We’ve processed an ACH deposit for $5,140.00 from IRS TREAS 310 TAX REF to your account nicknamed ******. That’s above the $0.00 you set for an alert.

Your balance is $5,297.58 as of 2/22/18 2:32 AM ET.

I have never received a refund past February 22, the February 27th date is a latest date in the deposit window stock answer. I’m happy to provide more C & P’s of my deposit records if you doubt me.

I don’t understand why the people who claim to have gotten refunds are still wasting their time on this site to comment. Way too many on here screaming ” it’s true, because I got my money ” then why are you all here. No offense😉

Not sure why they would issue DDD Of 2/22 and then turn around and say that? My WMR screen says if I don’t have it by the 27th to call. Odd they would be saying that

Michael the Single Dad – that makes sense. Testing the deposit process with a batch of 2/22-ers and catching any glitches would be a lot smarter than 26 million EITC taxpayers having their refunds screwed up on the 27th!

My fiance had EIC, filed 1/28, deposited to NetSpend on Tuesday, so it did happen for some. I’m hoping that mine will be in soon. I get both credits, filed once I got my w2s on 1/14 and had a cycle of 20190405. No bars as of yet, but I’m sure something will happen, maybe by the 27th. Crossing my fingers!

                                                April

I spoke to an agent today and she said that the message saying “your return is being processed” means it was approved and it is just waiting for a deposit date. She said I should receive my deposit in my bank account sometime before the 27th and if I haven’t received it by then to call back. She advised me to keep a check on my bank account rather than wmr. She said everything was different this year with wmr tool and it’s confusing people, but to my understanding the processing message is just like having two bars and it may hit my bank account before the tool updates. It would still be nice to know for sure what date to be expecting it.

                                                  Michael the Single Dad

I believe the 2/22s were randomly picked individual returns to TEST the systems. If I had to guess, I would say there are further safe guards that double or triple final check all PATH refunds before the actual deposit is pushed to your payment method, because if something is erroneous or broken, imagine what their call centers would be like if NOBODYs refund pushed out for that 2/27 date. Or even worse, their system is missing fraudulent returns and the IRS continues to bleed money despite the PATH policies. Just as antivirus and other preventative measures to protect our computers evolve so do the fraudsters tactics. Actually in most instances AV and other preventative measures are usually a step behind. With that I digress…

                                                    Good luck to everyone!

The 27th line is just that, a line. Even the woman I talked to at the IRS today told me that they are in line for the 27th but I could even get my return the week leading up to the 27th. Today makes 7 days before the 27th so I could have mine anytime between tomorrow and next Wednesday and if I didn’t have it by the 27th to call them back.

They say every year that feb 27 is the day for path but most people got theirs the week of Presidents’ Day
