I called the phone number to find out about my refund after talking to H&R block. I was expecting a long wait but only waited a few min. before a IRS agent answered and told me they could not access my information because the computers are down. This was less then an hour ago. I asked them if the Where’s my Refund was giving the right info and all she did was repeat that the computer systems are down.
I guess the update last night broke something.
BTW H&R block told me that my refund was accepted and that it showed to be direct deposited. My bank sees nothing so I guess that means that H&R block’s bank had a pending for me. Where’s my refund shows only 1 bar no change and I filed on 1-15 received on 1-19.
I guess this should give some people hope because the system my have broken before all the direct deposits was given out. I am hoping to see something in the next few days.
