I’ve seen on here where people say if the SSA updates your wages then the IRS has processed your tax return. Has anyone verified this as legit or is it just speculation??

And of true, how long after this before IRS sends out your check?

Ok. Was just curious. I’ve seen over the last few years on here people seem to assume it’s a good thing if your SSA is updated then the following week they get a DDD.

@redacted B …nope not necessarily true…I just checked my SSA online account and it’s STILL not updated… however, this morning I got my DDD for 3/11….I thought the same thing but I’m sooooo glad it not totally true!

Not true in my opinion. My wages have been reported and no change in the way of an update or DDD.

I have . The irs and ssa agents told me the IRS sends the information to SSA but it doesn’t reflect your return. They have until September of the current year to update at the SSA, I don’t know what to believe but I’m under review and mine do not match so far

I dont think true!! SSA has had my income for awhile and I’m still stuck in the 45 review! 1541/570 loop
