So the IRS has legit had my refund for 30 days and reading all these horror stories everywhere I decided to call and make sure everything was golden. The rep asked me questions to verify my account. She asked my address so I gave her the one I had filed with 1/18 she said are there any other addresses and I said my current address since we moved on February 1. She said that’s the one they have for me? Ummm ok confused me how they got it but whatever. She put me on hold and came back and said had a yada yada yada EITC and ACTC hold you haven’t processed yet but we are sending refunds out 2/22 til the beginning of March . When I pull my transcript I can see my old address so first how in the heck do they have my new address and if I haven’t processed how is she seeing that new address on my transcript when I don’t. 🤯🤯

It is all scripted and while yes we all know about the path act and the dates they have said to check it would put peoples mind at ease to at least see a damn bar or something.

I called too and both people refused to answer any questions claiming I filed on the 3rd, it was the 30th but I know they accept on certain days. Anyways it’s kind of annoying how they won’t even look for you.

Who is mad? Me? I’m not mad I was mind blown 🤯 that she said I hadn’t processed yet but clearly I have if they have already updated my new address that I just moved too 😂

Too bad there’s a chance funds won’t hit on the 22nd. I don’t update until 11:59 Saturday if that’s the case. And I used the turbo card…

So your mad your refund is delayed, even tho literally everywhere it’s been mentioned that eitc won’t be released until mid February with payments being March. OK, boomer.

Nope address wasn’t listed anywhere in fact JH told us to use our old address since we hadn’t moved yet. I just thought it was weird that if I hadn’t processed yet how their records reflect it
