I can’t win

Filed in early January last year and was accepted early (in a test batch I assume). Watched everyone who filed on opening day, and well after get their deposits. Didn’t end up getting my refund until March. So this year I filed on opening day thinking filling early last year delayed my refund. Now once again I watch as everyone gets their deposits, and updates. While I sit here with N//A on my transcripts. It’s maddening.

Sunny that is incorrect.

From what I understand an IRS processing center was down last week because of the storms in Texas.

IRS has stated that WMR is not updating as they are having issues (as always).

None of us on here really know why people are getting their refunds faster than others. The only thing that make sense is that the processing center is a few days behind on processing returns from not having any power.

Yeah they need to work some sort of method into the madness. I have a suspicion that lower income people and people with smaller returns ,get their money sooner. And they hold larger refunds for review for longer. People who paid a lot in shouldnt be penalized.
