Just called Emerald Card, recording says they received notification from the IRS and that my refund will be loaded onto my card on 2/23. I did receive advance loan and fees withheld. I can say this year has by far taken the longest I filed 1/29 accepted same day.

It’s amazing how most everyone that did not use HRBs Emerald card have already received their 2/23 deposits but people like me are still waiting even though Emerald is apart of BOFI federal bank… You would think people that bank through them would receive funds first.

Grrrr… So i called HRBlock just now again, they said its not showing my funds released, but scheduled for deposit tomorrow. Then she told me, oh i see your refund wasn’t affect by the EITC, which it was, which is why i have a DDD of tomorrow, so now im freaking out because clearly there’s something wrong with their system and my account. Quick question. I went through my paperwork from filing and I am suppose to have fees taken out, and I am looking for the routing number of the bank that HRB uses and I do not see it. I just see my account information, please let me know

@ellabella yes the “manager” I spoke with said my fees hadn’t been paid and he didn’t see that the funds had even been sent over at all. he did in a way tho say he promised id see it soon so maybe they just aren’t allowed to tell us the truth and that was his way of sneakily saying il have it tomorrow after all. but the credit union said the pending deposit was from BOFI for the exact amount minus the fees to H&R and that it would post in the morning. so to anyone reading this contact your bank if they are still open and ask about pending deposits. ALSO…… goodbye NEWYORK.

I just called HRB and I asked if they had received payment for my filing my taxes with them and they were suppose to take out the fee associated with using their product. The lady told me that she doesnt see where they took out the money and she asked me if I had already received the direct deposit. I told her yes that I did (I really didnt) and she told me to hold on. She later came back on and said that she had to look in another system and had seen that they did in fact already received my refund and that all was clear on their end and that my bank should get the funds completely tomorrow. I found it funny that I played their game and made them play mine without them even knowing. Hopefully it is true that I get my money tomorrow.

Deposit is pending in my credit union account until 2/23. At least it’s there. I’m fine with that. As of about 4:15, wasn’t there prior to that.

Everyone should be fine, check your accounts in a couple hours. Midnight is also only a few hours away.

Lancy as long as your rep wasn’t just blowng smoke, you are a hero to us all in regards to providing hope in this time of need. I seem to only get reps at the IRS that refuse to actually pull up my account even when I went the route of not asking for a refund status but just get the tax transcript that my college is asking me for to determine my financial aid eligibility. the one I spoke with today just said that if the WMR says the 23rd then the money will be there on the 23rd but didn’t actually verify or put my mind at ease with a sure “yes the money was sent”

@ellabella I believe the response you received stating no refunds until next week was just the standard message we have all been told, that the refund could be as late as the 27th, depending on your bank being the keywords and no processing issues, I wouldn’t stress if the WMR says tomorrow it will more than likely be tomorrow that we see money. because as you are finding out every single one of us has received different answers as well as the same answers, rep to rep and that answer changes. but I strongly doubt and strongly hope at the same time that it is not next week, personally for me that screws over every plan my wife and I have made in regards to moving 3000 miles from new York to Washington and actually locking down the new apartment and not losing the 500 deposit we already paid. I will be getting a tax advocate if the bank shows no dough tomorrow

I just talked with a nice rep from IRS. With a little research we all should have our money on the 23rd. The money has been sent and she said not worry it will be there on the 23rd as expected.

i also called the office I filed with and spoke with a manager they informed me that they have not yet received the funds from the irs and that it could take a couple days for them to be sent to my bank once BOFI sends them. this tax season is proper crap. I have never not received on the date from WMR and my bank Visions FCU does not do holds, when it gets there they release it. I have never been so frustrated from taxes ever, between all the lies, the ignorant customer service reps, the excuses and that god forsaken path act generic monologue they insist on repeating 30 million times. some of these reps deserve to be paychceck to paycheck and depending on this refund like a lot of us are, maybe then theyd be decent and understanding in trying to help as best they can. hopefully by morning we 23s will all be rejoicing.

Ugh, guys. I am so stressed out. I just spoke with a nice lady who looked into my account and said no Money has been sent from IRS to h&r block at all and that they received an office wide email saying our money would not be deposited until next week from them. That the funds have not and will not be released until next week. And I fully believed her because she was so helpgul. That she had been yelled at all day over it. Please everyone keep us posted if I’m fact you do get yours. She said the last update to send funds Is 6:3030pm central time tonight.

I called the HRB customer service number, because I completed my taxes online through them. I called and they advised me that my refund had not been received from the IRS yet. But my scheduled date is for 02/23, so I am not sure if it will post on tomorrow or not

Yeah I just got off the phone with another nice person at HRB, there system is showing no payments received from the IRS yet. I’m thinking that there system is just not updated, I guess I’ll try again tomorrow if I dont see anything in the morning.

I called the office I went to and was told they have no possible way of checking whether or not my refund was there or if my fees had been paid. I called the 1800 number and a really nice lady checked for me. She said that they haven’t received my money yet and my fees are not paid. She said to call back in the morning if it isn’t pending in my account. I filed in an office, not online..so that person lied to you.

@lady I sure will. Yeah i filed early this year like usual, and wasn’t aware of the path act as well. Hopefully I’ll have some good news for all of us in a little bit. I’m hoping, if at the very latest i hope we’ll have our money Friday for those of us with fees being taken out. I always anticipate an extra day just because Money from IRS to BOFI then an extra day from BOFI to my bank for processing time, but like I said, If I remember correctly, I usually got my money on or before my DDD, but this whole path act thing is really screwing things up.

I wasn’t aware of the path act until the day my taxes were accepted by the IRS. I also am kinda upset with hrb because everyone I know that used other tax prep software and had different banks already received their refund Monday night even though their dd was same as mine.

Just spoke with a nice lady from HRB at 10:45 am pt and was told my fee have not been paid yet but as soon as they are sent to BOFI I should receive them immediately after that. With that being said the IRS updates there systems after midnight eastern time (9 pm my time)so it could be anytime after that 🙂. I don’t really know what to think though because I was told payments were already sent out from the IRS for dd 2/23.

Hey there everyone. Accepted 2/2/17 Updated 2/19/17 with DDD of 2/23/17 went through HRB w/fees and deposit into my checking account. I called yesterday and the man showed no payment even sent to BOFI from the government and said to try back today. I’m waiting until after 2 CST to try because I know they do batches throughout the day. I’ved HRB for the past 3 years with fees taken out, and If I remember correctly I got my money on the DDD or before even with fees taken out. I’ll update everyone when I call HRB in just over an hour.

When you call, don’t ask about your refund upfront. Maybe they’re tired of people looking for that information? I guess I’ve been lucky to get nice, helpful reps right away. Again though, I only asked about the fees being paid and they offered the other information after. Just be nice to them

Same here 2/23 DDD fees going to personal checking account of course no help from hr block except their scripted get you off the line response. Thankfully when my bank ever gets it sent no hold time on their end.

I made a post and even updated it yesterday. I called 8558978639. Don’t hit the option to check on your refund. You need to be able to speak with an agent. Once you do, only say you are looking to see if your fees have been paid. They will ask a few verifying questions then tell you exactly when the irs has or will release your refund.

First time I called, they said it was due to be released on the 21st. I called yesterday evening (21st) and asked again and sure enough my fees had been paid and the rest sent to my bank (credit union) to be released tomorrow, 23rd, which happens to be my DDD. It was very easy and only took a few mins

Not yet 🙁. I’m guessing it will come by midnight pacific time since their headquarters is in California. I spoke with someone yesterday that said it could take 5-7 for them to take the fee and deposit the funds which sounds more like don’t call back until next week lol. They are usually pretty good about depositing on dd but we will see. I know the IRS sent the payments on the 17th so BOFI is just taking their sweet time taking the fees and depositing.
