HRBlock and Itemized Deductions w/Medical Expenses

Any other early filers out there waiting with the “still processing” message?

It appears that the HRBlock forms (Schedule A) weren’t updated and they allowed us to file early. Now the IRS is manually processing (“reviewing”) and inputing our returns.

I was told today by the IRS that my return had to be manually entered.
My HRB “filing date” is 2/19/18 but I filed and was accepted on 1/25 and have the confirmation.

I was told my 6 weeks would be from the 29th and I should have my refund by 3/12 when the 6 weeks processing window ends.

OMG! What a screw up! Thanks for calling! So all of us who completed returns in January were basically set back because of H&R’s lack of an update. And I would assume that the IRS doesn’t have a message for “H&R Block dropped the ball so we are fixing their mess”, thus the processing message.

I don’t think I will see anything until a week after you at this point since I was filed on 02/23.

Ugh.
