Had a ddd of 2/22. It came and went. Yesterday i called H&R and he told me…
Yes we received your money on the 22nd. Weve taken OUR MONEY OUT. The notes here in the system says its scheduled to be sent to your bank on the 25th.
Here it is the 25th. NOTHING! They sure were quick to take their money. But seem to have a broken fingers when giving me mine. I will never use H&R Block again. I would recommend to everyone else to stay away as well. Especially after the rediculous fee they charged for it.
Anyone else having a problem getting money from them?

My refund just hit 630am Emerald card due date to 22 it looks like they’re taking care of us and batches this year so if you’re still waiting if your due date is 222 and you have been approved your refund is coming! Where is my refund did not update to the IRS website either see you next year!!

@PatienceVirtuous oppps just to clarify the first lady I spoke with was an H&R block 1800 representative. Alson My WMR and NYS Fund pages have yet to be updated. So much for that being the most accurate.

I spoke with IRS this morning because some stupid person that probably wasn’t in this country said my funds were already released from IRS. The nice lady at the IRS told me it had not been released yet but would be on the 22nd. I even called the bank the emerald card goes through BOFI or something and they told me they see something pending but it actually had not been sent yet.

for those with no deposit yet. i have a theory some of us like myself are waiting bcuz of the amount or getting the emerald advance.
my gurl got hers at 930EST she had EIC ddd of 2/22 and refund was under a grand. ive got nothing yet filed same day as her, had EIC and ACTC, ddd of 2/22 and refunds a lot more than hers also got emerald advance. i dnt think credits should affect it at this point. i do believe having the advance could. hope for the best i guess being that the app and site are still down.

Ok, I’m in Central Time, I received my DD on Emerald card at 10:50 pm. With Fees taken out, also had a code 203 because I owed state taxes and they took that out as well and I had EIC.

Omg people! You do realize when it’s sent, it’s not instantaneous, right? Yes, the IRS does say sent BY the 22. Which means they’ll send it out 2 days before that. It can take 2-5 business days for it to reach your bank and then for your bank to process and release it. Some banks makes the funds available when they get the pre notification. Other banks (like mine) waits until they actually receive the money to post it.

So chill out already. If you really want or need that money, change that number of exemptions you have with your payroll so they don’t take as much out of your paycheck throughout the year.

I have FM prepaid card which is backed by US Bank. My message says that my funds WILL BE SENT BY 2/22 (not ON 2/22 for those out there telling us to chill). WMR updated on 2/17, along with tons of JH and TT users. However, they got their money last week. I filed and was accepted on 1/25. No deposits yet. Strongly suspect HRB is holding funds to profit from the interest and could have released them already but have chosen not to.

WMR actually says BY the 22nd. Not ON the 22nd. So technically our money is actually late getting to us and likely BofI has had it already and is waiting until the 22nd to give it to us. With that being said… I have emerald card, fees being taken out, filed and accepted Jan 26th, ddd Feb 22nd, haven’t gotten a deposit yet.

I’m not using them again not because my refund isn’t there I will complain if it’s not there the 22 but I used them for the first time this year because I was doing the advance , pro’s advance worked got the money same day and major con los was charged over $500 to file my taxes I don’t own any property I claimed 2 kids I don’t have anything extra and I was charged that much ontop the fact my guy sucked I had to correct his mistakes I normally use TT and they charge me $100-$150 and I never have any issues hrb is way to expensive for the help you actually get. Anyone else agree or have some good insight for hrb?

This forum is free speech and we all have preferences on institutions we have on our own conscience to use JUST like using the word “DUH” everybody does have plans for their refund and not a psychic on people situations so obviously there’s nothing we can do to rush an institution distributing the refunds but wait as we patiently can day by day without the annoying path some has encountered for days! DD is tomorrow so let’s see how sweet life can be without criticism we are all doing the same thing “patience is a virtue”

This is my first year trying the emerald card. Unfortunately it will probably be my last. I’m not really concerned about not having my refund until my actual dd of 2/22. It’s more of that Hr block doesn’t let you track your refund at all. I’ll just stick to my normal way of filing taxes myself and viewing pending deposits next year.

From everything I read on previous posts and Facebook, Emerald Card doesn’t release early unless it’s the day before after 9pm for those with fees taken out. I’ll just keep checking throughout the day to see if this is true and keep you posted.

HR Block w/ DDD of 2/22, and nothing! I have used Block 4 years n a row and have gotten my refund at least a day early every year..I j can’t believe we are all going through this. Crossing my fingers for a deposit sometime today for us.

I love it when people say they’re never using HRB again because their refund isn’t deposited a day early. The IRS website says “2/22”, that means it will be sent on 2/22. Wait until the stated date and if you haven’t received it by that date, then you can complain. Duh. I mean, we’re all in it together. We all want our refund. But, give it the time that it says before attacking the institution that filed. Don’t spend the money before you have it. Problem solved…
