So a lot of other banks and Jackson Hewitt are releasing funds and released them on Friday with ddd of 2/24. But for some reason HR Block has decided to hold money till 2/24. Not sure why why I believe they are using same bank as Jackson Hewitt. Very disappointing more drama to come. Can’t just be easy right Come on Block do as u told people and release our funds please

Metabank doesn’t process transactions from the federal reserve when its closed or on federal holidays. So this includes weekends and days like tomorrow.

Anyone know if it’s metabank or h&r block I’m waiting on. I did have fees come out of tax return but my state return paid the fees. So does it still get bounced to h&r block?

I spoke to an H&R Block agent that actually knew the location of Jimmy Hoffa! She actually said they’re going to hold the refunds for an extra week just to verify everything. Jackson Hewitt actually just hands people cash when they leave the office. They don’t even wait for your refund to be accepted. If you send a tweet about Jackson Hewitt they’ll send you $50…… That’s what I’ve heard. Come on just because somebody says they talked to somebody doesn’t mean they did.

It’s not true. HR Reps just have to say that just in case so they have some leeway with time should there be any delays. 2/22 should be 2/22. I wouldn’t be surprised if 2/24 DDD see $$$ on 2/22 Tuesday either.

They sent refund the day Anyone got two bars. Same day. They have been holding since. Doesn’t take more than one second. Again Jackson Hewitt filers ddd 2/24 have there money. Just spoke to one 5 minutes ago. They got there money Friday. There’s no in between they either release it or they don’t. So if they don’t won’t see till that day. People have the right to be irratated when they have paid 4 hundred for there taxes being down and we’re told they would get early.

I really think people post stuff like this just to get people going. It’s like saying the banks hold the money to collect more interest. I’ve used H&R Block several times and never had to wait for the DDD and if I do oh well?
It’s not the end of the world have to wait 2 days is it??

Any h&r people get deposits with ddd 2/22. Like you all disappeared. Hoping means people got early

Who told you this? Because two people that work at HR told me they release the money as soon as irs SENDS the money. Just because your refund has been approved don’t mean it has been sent to hr block yet.

They told me when I filed they don’t hold funds soon as they get they direct deposit it. I don’t even owe fees now,as they came out of state. Irritating. Wouldn’t be pissed but they said they release early.
