      Filed on 1/13 with H&R Block online and for 2 months I have been under review and saw some people say to check the H&R Block filing date history. Mine never changed from 1/13 on there but this morning I checked and it says March 9. What does that mean, if anything at all? I am getting no info from the IRS and was basically told last week its not going to get processed because my wages don’t match what was filed. THis feels like a never ending bad dream.

          @MKR you might be correct. I was ready to file my amended return today but now I may just wait until the 45 review is up. In my case it started on 2/26 so I have another month to go. Its just this waiting game is killing me. I haven’t gotten any letters of any kind even telling me I’m under review. I only found this out because I have called a zillion times.

            Not to say that the TA isn’t correct, but with all the misinformation being spewed by the IRS call center, I would take that with a grain of salt. Letters, no letters, wmr updates, cycles, transcripts, reviews, waiting periods, etc. … this year I think all bets are off. Judging by the posts, it seems that it is 50/50 on whether or not a TA can actually help expedite things or even give good information. Seems that the best option is waiting.

              @kelcf same here told the same thing but friday they told me my refund will never get issued because the numbers don’t match I screwed myself out of a bigger refund so I don’t know how they are going to process that. I guess before I get hasty and file an amendment I’ll wait until the stupid review is over in April… I don’t know why it has to take so long. I needed money like yesterday :(

                They told me I could get an advocate (I can’t because I’m not in streets yet) and Submit my amended return to TA or wait it out.

                  IDEK then 🤷🏻‍♀️ Cause I was told by irs rep that if what I reported was THAT significant it would get rejected by irs and I could edit and resubmit. And that of my return was accepted (and it was) it would be processed as usual.. refund issued.. THEN amend and pay/receive the difference.

                    If you fall within a certain tolerance they will but mine is too great. Its a difference of an additional $800 back to me. They told me the IRS will not correct and adjust my return.

                        @rachel

                        Who told you your return was not going to get processed … a taxpayer advocate or someone from the IRS call center?
