We filed 2/1 and tracker said we would receive it 2/24. We didn’t complete the return until almost 9 pm. Does it go by time of day also? Has anyone received their refund that was under PATH on the anticipated date the tracker said?

If the IRS seriously did refunds based off of the “21 days after acceptance” then my refund would’ve been here long before the anticipated H&R date. My Federal was accepted on January 20th & H&R said February 15th. The 21 days should have been around February 10th. I don’t have it in my account yet. My state came on February 13th. I’m seriously hoping that like previously said that it’s delayed due to Washington’s Birthday & that it’ll be on tomorrow.

I have a DD of 2/15 too . And it’s not 21 days from when I filed.

Not based off of the 21 days for me.
I filed 2/1 and mine says 2/24.
I’m not saying it’s accurate but if it was based off the 21 days theb it would say 2/22.
Either way, all we can do is wait…
I stopped checking WMR… Useless at this point. -

You are so right? People are still new to the game I suppose. Those trackers through tax services use the 21 day estimation. It’s as if people think it is a guarantee or something. -

Yup Block is useless. That tracker isn’t worth the effort or faith you folks are putting in it.

HRB told me 2/10, 2/12 the latest. Definitely didn’t happen, lol. Like Brett said, it’s just the generic 21 days. Would have been nice, though.

It is literally just the 21st day frin emwhen you got accepted n your bank would issue anything til tuesday even if it came the 15th as it’s the weekend and monday the 17th is a federal holiday

I have the same thing but with being under the Path Act I’m not holding my breath for the 15th. Besides its a Saturday and my bank wont release the funds until Monday anyway! Just going to sit back and not stress about it like I’ve been dong this season.

@irswait
Dont trust the hr block tracker its.just based off the 21 day and they are releasing funds early had a ddd for 2/12 for state and got it today…. All the pathers just have to wait til 11:59pm on the 15th to have the PATH to lift and then I bet the irs will give you the true date for you

Yup same date..filed 1-21-20..accepted 1-23-20. Claimed both credits. Hnb block tracker shows anticipated refund date of 2-15-20. Yipee skippy. From what I’ve gathered hnb has been releasing funds early for those NOT on the path act. Most of there tracker dates have been right. Stay patient.

The hr block tracker is solely based on the 21 day time frame they do not know anything about the real ddd

What tracker are you looking at and it prob says anticipated 2/15 cuz that’s when path lifts only the irs at the end of the day knows when the ddd is

I have H&R Block and so did not receive that text. Wish I did though. Is there somewhere on the app that I would be able to find an anticipated DDD?
-
February 10, 2020 at 11:56 am #4344716Jennifer
Mine says the same thing now and was wondering that myself. I sure hope it does mean that they are planning on releasing it then. Because it didn’t say that before, not until this recent text update

Thank you hopefully the irs website is back running soon then I’ll know for sure.

If you claimed EIC or ACTC you are at best you are looking at a week after the 15th. More realistically the second week after the 15th. If you claimed neither, to hell with PATH and you should see a refund DD within a week-ish. I would not place money on the software estimated dates but it should be somewhere around there.
