How safe is 846?

Has anyone ever heard of an 846 on a transcript going away? Or anything else bad happening after receiving an 846?

I know it sounds like a paranoid question but I have read that a DDD on WMR can, in very rare cases, go away. I’m just hoping that the transcript is more reliable…

  In all the years of filing, the 846 code on my transcript has been my DDD and has never changed.
  Waking up to a 846 code with DDD of 2/22 has giving me a sigh of relief.

  Lol understandable, but it’s very reliable. That date will not change on your transcripts.
