For those of you who have gotten your refunds and transcripts….

How long after the date listed as processing date on the transcript did your get your refund. I’m trying to see if there is any method to the madness. Mine was March 12, and still no DDD. Just looking for a little hope.

My processing date was 2/26. My transcripts did say “as of 3/5” then changed to “as of 3/12” and hasn’t changed since. I got the review letter dated 3/1 which just so happened to be the day I called to see what was going on with my refund. I have a refund due by 4/15. Don’t qualify for an advocate. I was roughly 2.5k off filing from payroll info instead of w-2. The descrepancy is in their favor since my refund is $100 short by the w-2. Ive always been told not to file an amendment until the original had processed or it will add to the workload and take longer. Despite paying TT they’re no help and we all know how helpful the it’s # is. Frustrating not knowing what the issue is and having it sit there. The IRS really should put out a press release, I’m far from one to think I’m entitled to things but I feel like we all deserve at least an attempted explanation.

I tend to believe that there is not much merit in the 45 or 60 day periods. Seems to me it is just a buffer. Could be sooner yet could take longer. Guessing game this year.

I was told to allow up to 60 days from the 4464c letter (3-15-2018). Before that, it was 45 days from the processing date (3-19-2018)

@Prettyladyte Keep me posted if you see an update this week. Did they tell you 21 days from the processing date? That’s what I was thinking they might be going for, but no one has ever said for sure.
