      I have two offsets for state taxes, transcript updated overnight to show code 846 with full refund and DDD 2-16. How do I know if they will actually take the offsets? Do I just wait and see if the refund doesn’t come on the DDD?

      TOPS hotline says “may be offset”…

          chose option 1 put in SSN then select option 2 will tell you

            Code 898 is the code for an offset (non irs debt) and usually appears on transcripts 11 days after code 846 refund date.

            I’ve read WMR will update with an adjusted refund amount after the offset amount is subtracted out.
