Here’s what I’m worried about and I’m wondering if anyone can shed some light.

My taxes have been delayed due to not having the forms I needed. (Thanks TT) anyways, sent those in 3/5. That’s a lost cause at this point. BUT, will that affect my stimulus money?

Can TT hold my money because we haven’t paid them their precious $40 that was supposed to be pulled from my taxes but they now refused to because I haven’t gotten a refund yet? Will that delay them?

Is there any clear answer on if the money will even go to my TT card?

How do you check pending deposits on TT?

If my 2019 taxes still have transcripts as N/A will they pull from my 2018 taxes? My 2018 taxes have our banking info on them, will it be deposited there? Or would it defer to a paper check? If they go off 2018 then they won’t include our daughter who was born in 2019. I’m worried that the delay of my taxes will cause a f*ck up in my stimulus money.

This is all pretty much a mess and don’t want anyone to think I’m complaining, just want clear answers like everyone else and feeling so hopeless.

@annoyed101, I’m under the impression that it will go on that card, since that’s the account you put on your return. However, I’ve never personally used a TT card.

Hey @thicks thanks for the info! I just checked my 2018 TS and it says as of March 29 2019 so I’m assuming that they’ll use this years. I guess my 2019 is in the system because they had to know to ask me for my 1099 forms. So I’m assuming they’ll go off this year. My tax return for 2019 has my acct and routing number for my TT card so I’m assuming it’ll go there?

@annoyed101, from what I’ve seen, the hold on your 2019 return won’t have any bearing on your economic impact payment. That’s what they’ll use. But, as you ask, if your return isn’t registering yet and they use your 2018 return, when you file your 2020 return next year, you’ll get the credit for your 2019 arrival then.

If you got DD in 2018 and they use that return, you’ll get your EIP as DD. But you’ll also have the opportunity to check on and possibly update the method the IRS will use when the portal opens later this week: https://www.irs.gov/coronavirus/economic-impact-payments.

Also, look at your 2018 ts; if your As of date on that return says, “Apr. 27, 2020,” then that should be a pretty good indication that they used that year’s return for your EIP.

              Regular guy

TT can’t and wony hold shit. Even people who owe loans and child support and stuff get their stimulus checks. It will go off the 2018 info
