    Help with transcripts.

      I filed 1-4-22, accepted 1-28-22
Got access to transcripts about a week later.
Seen all good codes then seen notice issued 971 I think and I got a letter but it was stim information then I updated last week to code 420 with 2-4-22 as the date. My as of date stayed the same. Then I updated again last night with 846 code but the dollar amount next to it is the amount I paid in not the full amount so should I go ahead an plan on not seeing that money till next year like people last year did 😭😭😭😭 I’m a single mom with 2 kids under 5 for the love of God I can’t afford this shit.

I’m getting audited again. I got audited back in 2016 and I couldn’t prove relationship but now I have my own child I birthed 9/2021 and I sent in everything two weeks ago when I got the audit letter. I was given a partial refund of $3,734 but unemployment took that for an overpayment so I hope my $7,000 I still haven’t received will come in 6-8 weeks like they say. Also instead of faxing u can go to IRS.com/auditclaims and upload all documents instead of faxing and mailing it in.

So you should have a date beside the 971 this will be the date the notice gets sent out. The 420 code means your return was flagged for partial audit. Given you still have an amount beside your 846, you probably have an 810 and 811 code for a freeze/unfreeze i suspect. They are probably going to audit your eligibility for EIC and ACTC credits. Which they are holding pending more information for verification.

this most likely applys to you if your codes are the same.
