Hello,
On the IRS Where’s My Refund site it shows that part of my refund was sent to my bank and the rest was offset. I got a letter stating that all of it was offset and then filed an injured spouse claim, this is what my transcript says:

971 Injured spouse claim received 02-23-2015 $0.00So, does this mean I am getting nothing? A full $1400 of our refund was due to education credits from MY school. How can debt that he incurred before I knew him get taken from my portion of our return? I was also responsible for paying most of the taxes paid as I worked a lot of hours at a much better job while he mostly stayed home with our baby due to being on job-attached unemployment. Needless 90% of our taxes paid came from my check. We are about to be homeless and I am beyond mad that I didn’t file separately.
What does this number mean? 76221-437-84817-5
