      Hello,

      My most recent employer hasn’t yet sent my documents to the SSA making my earnings statement incomplete (the other’s did submit already). What Can I do? This refund is very important to me, due to some medical challenges I have been facing.

      Any tried and true advice or knowledge would be appreciated.

      Thank you,

      DeeDee

          Anyone else with this issue? What are you doing to resolve it?

            @Target

            I am in agreement with Jross818, and I hope that the Tax Advocate is able to help.

                I reached out to them as well! The employer came back and said that they sent it in January.. but the SSA would’ve and should’ve had it by now I am sure.. so I ended up reaching out to the Tax Advocate.

                  @DeeDee, well I’m sorry. I agree w @Jross18.. It’s time to get help from an advocate, also the IRS needs to be notified of your employer negligence (not sending your forms/ being uncooperative) as you’ve reached out to them.

                    I had this Issue last tax season. Get a tax advocate ASAP to get it going. My previous Employer has yet to report my earning to either agency till this day but I was able to get a letter from them stating my employment status and earnings for that year along with the w2 and was cleared for processing. I did however have to wait until the end of March to receive my refund.
                    Hopes this helps and good luck!

                        I have called both the employer and the IRS to see how it could be resolved. I got conflicting information, and am so stressed about it.

                          Call your employer first. Then if uncooperative, report them.
