There was a really helpful man at IRS this morning that referred me to a tax advocate and said within 3-5 days someone will contact me. He said they sent me a letter saying nothing further was needed from me and to allow up to 60 days from 2/2/17. Now a new letter will be sent by next week from exams needing proof of my dependent. 😫😫😫
He said the advocate can help me get my refund faster and not have to wait for all my money. I can’t wait another 30 days!! This has never happened to me!!!!!! Does anyone else have a advocate? Do they really help??

Yes, absolutely try it with an advocate. If they r no help to you, u can always tell them that their services are no longer needed. I really think that I just got a bad advocate, but that doesn’t mean that u will as well. At the very least, they can get u a portion of your refund in a couple of weeks.

So do you think I should even deal with the advocate when they call? I’m so nervous!!

I was audited a few yrs ago & got an advocate. Honestly, she stressed me out more than I already was. But maybe that was just my bad luck bcuz other ppl hav found them helpful. I was audited TWICE IN 3YEARS FOR MY OWN BIOLOGICAL KIDS! SMDH! I learned a lot those yrs & I’ll happily answer any questions that I can…
