Woke up for a direct deposit date of 2/5 for state. Still waiting on federal. Does anyone know if 2/5 it will be in my bank or does it take longer than that?

Update: filed and accepted on 1/26… Va website said your return has been processed for over a week… Woke up and checked this morning and said I had an offset of 40 dollars and paper check will be mailed out 2/5 and should get the check and a letter stating what the upset is for within 10 days..Not sure what I owe money on bc I am 110 positive up to date on bills and taxes… Really hope this doesn’t mess up my federal return as still no ddd for that and it’s been since 1/20

Yea, I owed like 38 bucks on a car tax. So I am assuming they held for that. Refund was over 1,000, so I am assuming they will mail me a check feb 8 th. I’ve looked at a few other sites too…some states have received $, but so far I have not seen anyone in va that has actually saw $ yet.

Mine says has been processed, but Jo date. I filed and was accepted on January 22. Still nothing on federal. No bar movement.

I’ve filed fed and state in va on 1/27/16, still waiting on federal but when I check the state on one Web page it says, we have received your refund and it is currently being processed but if I go to another and sign in under my husbands acct, all it says is refund was processed on 1/29. Nothing else. Anyone know what that means?

Mo, that’s what mine says as well. If you have any outstanding personal property taxes, or Virginia state taxes, they’ll pay off those and issue you a paper check. Not sure if that’s the case for you, but I believe it is for me. Though that did happen a few years ago and It gave me some sort of indication on the site that that’s what was happening. Mine also says “return has been processed.”

According to federal tax tables whoever filed between Jan 19th (The earliest acceptance date to Jan 29th) will receive DD Feb 5th paper check to be mailed out Feb 8th

Mine is only updated to “return has been processed.” No DDD information. I do have a balance on my personal property taxes (which I was taking care of from my refund), so my guess is they’re paying that and will end up sending me a check for the difference.

I received an Approved today! I filed on 1/27 and my tax refund is expected in my account on February 3rd but no later than Feb. 8th

My dad was 1/26 and still have not received anything. Not sure what is going on but I’ve never had to wait once the date was up.

Mine updated and said processed as well, so I called them and they informed me that I had an offset. You might want to call and just check to see if you have an offset by chance.

I filed 1/13 accepted 1/15 … If i go to the VA site it says it has not been processed… Is there anywhere i can go to verify it was really recieved ? Also for thosed with a state ddd when did you file ?

I was approved on 01/20 with my VA Taxes. I filed on 01/19, but the WMR site doesn’t show any refund info.

I don’t think they will do any update until Monday for *Federal* and about State will i live in California and this is what it saying now

We authorized your refund on Thursday, January 21, 2016.

Please allow:

10 business days to receive your refund by direct deposit, or

25 business days to receive your refund by check.

I think no one will have and approval bar until Monday I think that everyone who file their taxes between January 11th and January 20th will get their checks on January 29th that’s only my assumption sometimes you will get your return and there’s no approval are given

I was accepted for VA on 1/19. I wouldn’t know if Im approved or not because the wmr for them lets me enter my info then goes to an error page.
