H and R Block

I curious how H and R Block works. In previous years Ive always filed with Taxbrain and was paid thru SBBT however last year they merged with Liberty Tax and my refund took almost 2 months because i had to id verify with Liberty after they received my refund and made me jump thru crazy hoops before I saw my money. So this year I elected to go with H and R Block and things have been ALOT smoother, ive elected to have my fees taken out of my refund, and have a DDD Of 2/24/16. i was just curious is there a bank site outside of H and R block where I can check to see if the money is and when received and usually the turn around time to actually receiving it. i feel for everyone still waiting on updates, and hope you all see it soon. If anyone has used H and R block before or currently please let me know.

Hi guys ddd 3/2 as of 3/1 at 5am Est no deposit. Guess we won’t see anything till tomorrow night (3am ish) if anybody gets a emerald card deposit w fees taken out earlier than 3am est please keep us updated!

No update on WMR but I can order both transcripts and I got the message on emerald card that irs has completed processing. Should get that 3/2 date tonight??!!

GOOD NEWS HNR BLOCK emerald people. Even though no ddd yet if u call the emerald card and ur done processing the message will tell u congratulations the fed is done and your processing is complete which means u will get a ddd tonight! call and check!

Hnr block emerald card w fees coming out f/a 2/18 WMR stuck at 1 bar tt152 refund is being processed. Hopefully next update on Friday night we will see ddd for next Wednesday!! Next week is gonna be a good week people!

Jackie I have been looking and reading a lot in the past few days (damn this website!!) and I think u r right, not seeing many hnr emerald people that filed in February having any nightmare stories at all. Hope this is a continued trend!

Got DDD for tomorrow, and H&R Block have confirmed they will be loaded then, and from what I’ve just read I’m assuming funds are loaded to emerald card at 3:45 am est? Has anyone gotten deposit earlier than 3:45? Just wandering. Thanks for the info

Is anyone who filed w Hnr block in February having any codes/issues? It seems like smooth sailing for all Hnr block people and looks like only problems with January through feb 4th filers and if using sbtpg… Anyone else having issues that filed later in February w Hnr block? Haven’t seen many at all!

You will get an email but in my experience the deposit goes on emerald card around 3:45am EST. then I got an email that afternoon. All of it happens on the ddd for the last 4 years w Hnr block. Hope that helps.

does h and r block notify us that they received our dd from the irs prior to sending it to us. Or will we not know till the DD hits our account. I too have a dd of 2/24 but h and r block still shows just my expected date and not what wmr says. Im just curious if we will receive a text or email from h and r block prior to deposit received.

Well I called H and R Block and they havent received my funds yet, i know she checked my account because she read me my checking account number where my dd is going. She stated that when they receive the funds it can take up to 5 days for it to post to my account. @hello.kitty i feel your pain, it seems this year having a dd isnt a safe zone yet.

I filed 2/5 w Hnr emerald card w fees coming out also had an offset. My ddd was 2/18 and I got my deposit on emerald card minus offset and fees at 3:45Am EST. on my ddd (2/18). Hope this helps.

Im curious too. Filed with H and R Block have fees taken out of refund, and have a ddd of 2/24 to my bank (Wells Fargo) Will it typically be the day of, or after? Im curious when th Irs batches ot to Block and blocks turn around time. I think im pysching myself out with everyone posts who got DDD but money never came. I Know I have an offset, and my WMR states the reduced amount with new refund amount and approval.
