No one filed for my 3 kids in 2019. I did a non filer but they weren’t on there. I requested the rebate on my 2020 taxes along with adding them as dependants. Taxes still processing. They gave me 1400. Bullsht.

      Now what?

mizuseirei, they sent it to my brand new bank using last years dependants information. Thateans they had to get it from return and still screwed up the amount. How dumb.

I filed on 3/7 and was accepted on 3/8. They should have had my 2020 tax year information, however they still have my stimulus to be deposited into my bank (2019 information) instead of my credit union (2020 information). This stimulus package bill was passed days days after my taxes were completed and accepted, so there is no excuse. The IRS dropped the ball this tax season.

Pppp, according to what I’ve read, they won’t have to wait that long, but the IRS will automatically send the difference after processing the 2020 return.

You’ll get it on next years refund.

Mary, I’m pretty sure the IRS will send you the difference once they process your 2020 return.

Your 2020 taxes may have not been processed before they issued the stimulus. They went off 2019 return then. You can either submit an amended return or wait until next year to claim the rebate again.
