After filing early then waiting 5 weeks last year, I wasn’t sure what to expect this year. I decided to file early again since I have every year, and chalk last year up to a fluke. Happy I did.
      Filed 1/18 with TT
      Accepted 1/21
This morning, checked about 6 am and moved to 2 bars, refund approved it’s a ddd of 1/29.

Good luck to everyone else here in getting speedy returns.

yes unless you have it deposited somewhere, where they don’t hold funds until the actual send date

DD date of 1/29 – does that mean that the funds hit my acct that day?

@DLT I filed early and was accepted 1/13 too.

I did get a DDD date for 1/29 yesterday. Here’s hoping you are soon

I just checked the IRS site, and it is the same for me – 01/29/2020 deposit date. I am surprised that it is coming so early, as I had done my return on 01/15 (after a problem a few years ago with someone else using my info – which messed up my return for several weeks – I now submit the Federal tax form as soon as I receive my W-2.)

I guess having a simple form, with no EIC or CTC claims helps …

I have a DDD of 1/29 for federal. No EIC but I do have the CTC. Both state and fed were accepted earlier than last year. MN dept of revenue has not started processing returns according to my return as of 1/24.

I filed with TT on 1/7, accepted on 1/13 and here I still sit while others who filed and were accepted a week later now have a DDD. Mine did not change this morning.

Hey Dman84. Actually there’s a lot of people that either don’t know or just being careless with what credits make you a pather. If you are a pather, no matter the size of your refund, it would not be issued until sometime after February 15 I believe. The reason your. Like mine, claiming the CTC, has Ben approved it that this DOES NOT apply to the regular CTC. It only kicks in if you claim the ACTC for children past the number you can claim in the regular credit. I hope this makes sense to you. I admire you for getting more money each paycheck. For me though, those smaller amounts just fritter away so quickly. I like knowing that come the new year, I’m gonna get a little chunk of money and it can be used for a vacation, new car, home improvements whatever. It also gives me another time of year to really look fwd to. It’s interesting to see how different people decide these things.

I filed early with HRblock on January 15th. My state refund came in on Friday and the fed will deposit on the 29th. I did claim child tax credit bit no eic. My refund is small because I elect to get more through out the year. Maybe it depends on the amount with the tax credits. Few years ago it took forever when I was getting fed thousand back. Now that it’s small hundreds it’s cleared way faster. Just food for thought. Good luck to everyone.

Nita88 NOBODY with those credits has a DDD yet, especially of 1/29, and it doesn’t make a difference what state. Some friendly advice- give that refresh button a rest and check for updates the second week of February.
