Got a new DDD today, with EITC!

Bars : At second bar, approved, as of today. ☺

Question though : It says “Scheduled to be sent by February 22”, does this mean it could be sent early? Does anyone ever have it early?

It’s not illegal for a bank to hold it if the instructions state “by” a date. My mom works in a bank. As long is it’s available by the “by” date and any instructions are followed. It works the same way for SSI.

Sbbt never sends early, Ive been on here three years and never got SBBT early always on DDD date I checked for two years and on DDD morning. But on Netspend fast it was literally there two days early but I switched to bank two years ago and never saw deposit until morning.. Netspenders and Prepaid get early, banks sit on it for interest then deposit the night before the ddd date. Some credit unions post early too. This is just my experience but you all can see what happens.

Just realized it says by, so there is no reason for banks to hold funds till a release date…im not sure why some banks r processing and others are not..thats illegal

FINALLY!!! Woke up this morning and it now says refund approved with a DDD of the 23rd. I got accepted on the 29th of Jan. Technically I guess we could get our refund prior to the 23rd right?

2/22 started getting released yesterday (Thursday), a lot of people already received them, depends on your bank and whether or not you are having fees taken out.

I filed with Jackson Hewitt and the IrS has yet to release my funds to the treasury and I have a ddd of 2/22

This is making me crazy.. I filed 1/19 no offsets, was able to order both transcripts.. STILL being processed with NO DDD? This is absolutely ridiculous! I have also received no letters. What the heck is going on this year? I am desperate need of this money. Like pretty much everyone.

I actually have the same question. I called the IRS and was told my DDD is 2/23. Is there any way I could see my refund earlier? I also filed with TurboTax and the fees will be taken out prior to me receiving. Any advice is appreciated

From what I’ve been reading majority with 22nd ddd seems to have it early except TT filers unfortunately. Sbtpg is slacking

If I remember right they usually do send it before then. I think they just add the if not received by the 27th just in case it takes ur bank a few days to process it
