I’ve been waiting on a card for my account for over a year I had 117$ and some odd cents in there I have called numerous times and it took me 3 hours and muttiple calling back just to talk to a supervisor who had mu account closed and said she was issuing me a check and it’s been another 3 maybe 4 months now and I’ve got nothing and I’m ready to get my lawyers involved 😡😡😡😡😡

I’ve been with go bank for a few years getting my social security direct deposit. It’s always at least 2 days early usually more, usually 3 or 4… I thought this would be super fast too but, not so much…. 😂 matter of fact, I got my payment I am supposed to get on the third, today and still haven’t gotten my return lol I’ve NEVER gotten my social security payment this early. It’s all mixed up lol

Thanks for your response. I assume the people with issues are, like you said, new account holders who barely got their cards and have not had paychecks sent through their account. I just opened my account last fall, but I have been using it for my monthly (i.e. relatively large vs weekly/biweekly) paycheck direct deposits, so I’ve been a bit nervous about hearing all the horror stories.

From what I can tell reading between the lines, the people with complaints posted 2-3 days ago, a lot of them anyway, and when people like me followed up to ask if they had their issues resolved, they didn’t respond at all, so I assume they are out spending their $, haha!

Never have had my funds held. Granted, I used them for over 3 years for direct deposit at my job. Since I’ve been using GoBank for tax refund deposits, all of my refunds have been $5,000 or more and have never had an issue. I’m going to assume these holds people are talking about are from brand new accounts where this will be their first account activity, in getting a tax refund deposited. So, to answer your question, I’ve never had any issue like people have been complaining about.

nc8po any problems with them holding funds? Seen a lot of stuff about that on their facebook posts… but it seems like it is mostly people who just opened accounts. I am concerned about one rumor, though, that they put a hold on deposits over $3,500. Any experience with that?

I’ve been using GoBank for almost 5 years. Been using it for tax refund for 4 years now. I think it came 1 day early, once out of the 4 years. Steph, your “what-ifs” have gone through my head since Sunday, so you’re not alone. This happens every year for me though :) I always get my deposits at like 3:33-3:35 am, every time. Weird time, but that’s when they come in. We will all wake up happy tomorrow!

Nothing yet.Every year I psych myself out that Input in the wrong info.Also I haven’t used my card.It was still good when I filed but that was awhile ago.So I have all the what if’s running through my mind. Also just drained the bank paying for my 2 daughters college classes.So deposit would be great right about now.

This would be my first year also having my refund deposited to this card. I was hopeful we would somehow have seen it this morning, but tomorrow is right here, so guess I’ll remain patient. I hate that the IRS is handling things the way they are this year, it sucks!

I’ve had mine for a long time. I’ve had it come 2 days early one time, but usually it will hit night before or day of. Last year mine was at 2 a.m. day of, year before it was the day before.
