Filed and accepted 1/23. Bars on WMR havr been gone for a week now. Can’t view transcripts online. Ordered them via mail. Was worried cuz I submitted my refund without my 1099 because the sales of my stocks were included on my W2. Called the IRS and got an extremely rude man who basically didn’t help at all and just saod I shouldn’t need to file an amended return.
Starting to feel like I’ll never get it. Wednesday is 21 days. Wth. Never had this issue before.

Why are people who filed way earlier than some of us getting DDD? I seriously give up. I’m going to assume at this point that something is wrong with my return

I filed via H&R block software on 1/31. Accepted by the IRS on 2/1. Woke up yesterday and had my second bar on 2/9. DDD is 2/13… No eic. Be patient folks, it’s coming!

Filed 1/24 and was accepted the same day. I have been on one bar with tax topic 152 ever since.
Definitely feeling frustrated and very discouraged. It has never taken me this long to get my refund. -

I don’t have kids and make too much money for EIC. So I won’t get a PATH message. That’s another reason why I don’t understand why tjis is happening to me… I have had the same job and address for years. I’m the only one on my return. I’ve had health insurance through my employer. No red flags except those stocks I was worried about but the IRS employee said not to worry since the income and taxes from them were on my W2. I’m seriously at a loss

This stuff happens every year with a big batch of the early filers. I stopped filing early 4 years ago and havent had a delay since. Just wait until the day they open and all will be well.

its clearly taking longer to process this year. I say that because I did mine and was accepted on the 23rd of Jan. When the Irs began processing on the 28th for everyone, you would think they would have had the early filers all ‘QUED” up. Does no good to file early if the wait is gonna be like this. No way it should be a month long wait. The path thing has to be done away with. Its a sham. Its another delay tactic they use to slow walk your refunds. They can use your refunds to gain interest in the meantime. Just ridiculous. Federal Govt at its “finest.”

I filed and was accepted 2/1. Most people I’ve seen have either received a DDD or updated to path. I’m sitting on one bar and have no way to view my transcripts, even though I doubt I’d be able to figure them out! Lol! I’ve only been waiting a week but I thought I’d see something by now, either way. Slightly obsessed, I suppose!

Yea I always had my refund by now. Transcripts still nothing!! I two kids I claim but didn’t qualify for the earned credit so there should be no hold up as normal. I just don’t get it.

@waitinggame Exactly. I had my refund on 1/29 last year!! Never wait more than ten days. Getting super worrisome and frustrating. Nothing changed for me this year-same job, same address. I’ve noticed it’s mostly people who filed when we did who are having this issue too. Hopefully it’s just a harmless glitch. Others who filed the day we did received their DDD. So I don’t know. Doesn’t seem like there’s any rhyme or reason to it

I have the same thing going on. I applied 1/21 was accepted 1/22 different than the past is WMR was available almost immediately. But then, like you my bars disappeared maybe a week ago. I hoped it mean progress. Far different than before is that in the past I’ve always gotten my refund very quickly, I’m pretty sure it’s always been within 10days. I’ve watched as people that filed much later have horrendous not just their ddd but actually gotten their refunds. I don’t remember that happening in th past. I know that last year I was accepted 1/22 just like this year and my direct deposit was there on 2/1. Also, why does it feel like the majority of those of us that have this happening filed 1/22-1/23?

@skys thank you! I’m hoping mine updates soon. They seem to be approving in odd ways this year. People who filed after me have already gotten their returns. I guess it’s just a waiting game for now. Not having the bars and not knowing where you’re at is so frustrating though!

I got accepted 1/23 too. All was good and then a week ago the one bar I had on wmr disappeared. Checked this morning and now I have a DDD of 2/13. Don’t lose faith!

@kellbasss glad to know it’s not just me. My bars are gone and have been for a week. I’m hoping everyone in our situation gets a DD next week
