I had a significant offset that took most of refund this year. A check of my transcript makes it look like even though I had an offset will still get the recovery rebate (back stimulus) payments. Anyone have a similar experience? I thought your stimulus payment could be taken if it was a part of your tax refund.

I owe state from 2015. I’m sure they’ll be taking all of my rebate but since there’s been no movement on my wmr or transcripts i have no idea. I hate being in the dark.

Owed 2017 taxes, they took both my EIC and RRC as offsets. Congrats on those that got their stimulus on time last year.

Call treasury offset number, I have offset from 2019 state tax and it says it was scheduled to be paid with my tax payment 02/24 so I am guessing thats my ddd???

I owe taxes from 2017 but my account online says I have a zero balance. I know I owe, but was wondering if because of the current situation, they weren’t offsetting my return.
                Guess time will tell.

Did you happen to have a tax topic on your WMR saying you had an offset? The offset line and my online account says I owe nothing.

That was my understanding too… Well awesome if they didn’t take yours.
