Hey guys,
So I checked the Get My Payment status today, and it tells me “Payment Status – Not Available”. My 2019 tax return I wasn’t eligible for the stimulus, but I was for my
2020 tax return that recently got processed and approved. Does this mean I’m not getting my refund? I hope they are going to go off my 2020 tax return. -

Thanks for the updates guys! Anyone have anything new popping up on their Get My Payment tool today?

Just wanted to say mine says status not available as well and it did for the first two as well. I have never been able to see a DDD on the stimulus tracker. But I got the first two, and I’m guessing this one will post to my account on Wednesday since I’mw with a traditional bank. Try not to stress too much about the tracker, as hard as that is.

The only thing I can think of with my husbands is his ID verify he had to do for his tax return. We had no issues with either of the previous stimulus checks.
This is so dumb.

Mine says the same, and haven’t gotten my tax refund yet either.

Mine is showing up that whole infamous Get my payment – Status Not Available crap too. Gave me the same issues for my $600 stimulus. Weirdly enough, did not do it for the $1200 stimulus. So I find it strange that it would do it again. They had no issues with my 2020 tax return. I’m not sure why they can’t just read my information and determine my payment since I definitely qualify under it’s regulated requirements.
Glad to know it’s just not me getting the run-around with them again

It says unavailable for also but I got it yesterday. It’s just a goofy unreliable system

Worse comes to worse and you’ll just have to for a check…best scenario they’ll begin processing us 2020 people or like a said they may say fuck it and mail us checks or cards.. I knew several people who updated their direct deposit information but we’re still sent checks and cards so basically the IRS will do whatever the hell they want

@thicks do you think since my most recent tax return updated from my 2019 to my 2020 tax return overnight Thursday night, that it may have overlapped with the first stimulus going out? I hope not, cos now my most recent is 2020 so wouldn’t they go off that

I don’t think they prioritized people whose most recent return is for 2019. I got my 2020 refund 2/26, and my wife’s stimulus and mine are both headed into my account 3/17. We just got married in 2020, and she got both of her 2020 EIPs as a non-filing SSDI recipient.

Do you guys think they are processing the 2019 tax return people first? My most recent tax return changed over night Thursday night from my 2019 to my 2020 – and I know they just started sending payments out Friday morning. So hopefully it didn’t overlap? What do y’all think, I’m stressed :(

I also received payment status not available but what I think it is is my 2020 taxes are still processing and I recently updated my direct deposits on the 2020 taxes and IRS hasn’t processed it so they don’t know where to send it and I never followed before with direct deposit I got it mailed

We are going off of 2019 for the stimulus and haven’t gotten the money yet. Our 2020 TR hasn’t been touched since accepted on 2/10. The only thing I can think of is the amount people are getting. We are a family of 6, so the higher the payment, the longer the wait?! Idk at this point why or how they choose who gets it’s first

Right. I didn’t think about the fact they may be starting with people who have their 2019 tax return as their most recent. Let’s pray it changes next week 🙏🏼

Ya it’s almost as if they started with the 2019 people since they are likely the brunt of the payments. At least that’s what it appears. I know we are eligible, I know we were processed yet it isn’t even saying we are eligible.

Right! My 2020 return is processed as well so I’m hoping they got off that one. My friends have gotten dates or at least say they are eligible. Hoping within the next few days the status updates. Keep me updated with yours too!

I’m in the same boat. My wife and I both say not available. We filed 2019 but paper so it’s still not there. 2020 completely processed and transcripts are available. I’m getting worried because it should at least say that we are eligible even if it doesnt have a date.
