      Into my bank account. Heres the thing, they never had my bank information until I filed with turbo tax THIS YEAR on 3/01. Last year I got paper stimulus checks. Does this mean they’re going off of this year’s taxes?

      My wmr still as no bars, no topic, and still being processed.

      Thoughts?

            @JLB1270 so I have a question about offsets, so I called the offset line and it stated I had a debt of 1700 which was taken from my over payment however wmr is still on one bar usually if I have a offset wmr will have tax topic 203

                @Mary When I first was offset I had no clue. They never sent any papers telling me and the wmr said approved…so I thought..ok, my $$ is coming but a few days later I got the code on wmr and then called..sure enough they took my whole refund. That went on for 3 years before I filed a hardship and went back in to forebearance.

                  @Mary I am not sure if that has anything to do with WMR honestly. I know wmr is not always accurate and the IRS stated that this year. The most accurate info is on your transcripts. I stopped my offset by filing for a hardship because they started taking 15% of my paychecks also. I won the hardship and put loan back into forebearance. If your brother calls TOPS it will show if he currently has an offset. 1-800-304-3107. He can also try for a hardship..several papers to fill out but worth it!

                    Is that why some people get it in their accounts before wmr updates? And what’s happening with your offset this year? My brother has one for student loans and isn’t sure if they’re taking it.

                      @Mary I am a weekly, (05). I switched to weekly about 5 years ago due to a student loan offset. I used to be a daily. Weeklies update overnight Thursday/.Early Friday and overnight Friday/Early Saturday. Stimulus though will show an 02 for everyone which is a daily,…but that has no bearing on tax $$. It is separate.

                        Are you weekly or daily?

                          @Mary…Forgot..yes, it will…or you would not have current direct deposit info showing;)

                            @Mary You’re welcome! Don’t worry. You are good!! Enjoy the weekend and the stimulus may even hit tomorrow/later tonight….I am sure your tax $$ is coming soon, as well. I would say maybe get your transcripts mailed also..that way you know if you are a daily or weekly and it will help for later years, you know? Kind of peace of mind :)

                                @Mary..ok..that is very good news! Most people who are still being processed yet updated their banking info…got stimulus to the wrong acct because the 2020 is not far enough along yet. So, that is really good news as far as your tax $ also. You will be getting the stimulus anytime now depending on your bank!

                                  I can and when I do it shows the last 4 of the account I used for the first time this year. Prior to that it was paper checks.

                                    @Mary Just to be sure, I signed on to Get my payment just now and it shows the scheduled Mar 17 into bank acct and does show the last 4 #s of my acct..and I got it today. So, if it shows and is correct then you will be getting your tax $ soon, also. As far as the correct amt..theres no way to tell that I know of until you get is .except transcripts..yet mine do not even show it yet.

                                      @Mary I see. Can you check the “Get my payment” again tho? I am pretty sure it will show the last 4 of your account number if it is being deposited..which is great news because that means they are far along on your actual tax refund. Also, you can order your transcriopts by mail and it is oretty fast. I had to do that a few years ago before getting account.

                                        @JLB1270

                                        I can’t get transcripts online because I don’t have the type of accounts they want for verification so I don’t even know if they’re up.

                                        I claimed by kids this year and was hoping since it was going to the bank account I used to file that it would mean I’m getting the right amount.

                                            @Mary..also, can you see the last digits of the account # on “Get my Payment”? If you can and shows correctly, then you are good!

                                              @Mary You got really lucky then and they must be further along on your taxes this year than it shows. I know the very large majority of people who filed this year and are still being processed, (I am one), will get the stimulus based on last year’s info. (2019). Lucky for me, I have the same bank acct info and did get stimulus but not tax $. What do your transcripts show?
