Updated DD early Wednesday when the portal opened. Since then it’s said I’m eligible, they’ll deposit it into my correct bank account. A lot of people got “check mailed” or even 4/22 ddd, mine still has not updated. Anyone else? I’d almost rather have a set check mailed date then nothing!

You messed up big time. You weren’t supposed to use non-filers tool if you got a 2018 refund. Its gonna take even longer for you to get a your stimulus now. You should’ve used the regular filers tool.

I just left a negative feedback on the GMP pre-page. I also sent an email to the Mayor of Dallas, the state representatives, the senator and the city council women. I attached the response from the IRS stating that they would deposit the stimulus money into my bank of America account as soon as they update. I had to vent somehow…lol

@saintike….the weekly $0-$10,000/$10,001-$20,000 and so on and so on is SUPPOSED to be for paper checks only. The word has been from the 15th or so that if you update on Wheres My Payment they’ll deposit your stimulus FASTER. Otherwise by not updating you fall into paper check status and each weeks checks go by income.

I finally figured out why I haven’t received my stimulus. If your AGI is between $30k and $39,999 you will receive your stimulus money from the 8th of May. Each week starting from April 17th the IRS sends deposits to those whose AGI start from Zero to $9,999 then the next week is $10k to $19,999 and the next week…

Updated dd at 6am on the 15th, had no problem logging into the tool until the IRS updated it. Now it only tells me my information doesn’t match their records. When I was able to log in it said I was eligible and they would update when they have a dd date. I’m just curious as to why they can’t recognize me anymore when I have had no problem until now! i believe long as your 2019 taxes are not complete and they went by that instead of 2018 you’ll be waiting until they get to your 2019 done and you will get both eventually.

Filed with H&R Block, inputted bank info on 4/15. Updated status of “April 30th” on Sunday 4/26. On the higher end for income “married filing joint” so I don’t think the direct deposits are going off of the same income disbursement as the paper checks.

The language of the info that’s out for processing refunds vs stimulus payment does not correlate with the stimulus. They used the 2019 for eligibility. I’m in the same boat really. Haven’t received either but from what I see and researched we have to be patient unless u filed paper and dont have a 2018 filed then u kind of pooped bag for a min. I messed up my I’m realistic about agencies. 2008 18 years ago they struggled imagine the magnitude they are work at.

18 return we had the 1040 DD mailed in 1040x and they sent check but they went off 18’ 1040 not 18’ 1040x they fine print say if you was last mailed a check they didn’t have your DD so I assumed that’s way we needed to update our DD on GMP but since then same as refund message payment will be made when date available long as they owe us I guess we ain’t never going broke😂😂

@irsowesme, I don’t believe that the account transcripts for 2019 show anything at all about the economic impact payment. After all, that’s for the 2020 tax return.

The only change on my TS was a change in the As of date before my EIP was DD.

Changes to the As Of date APPEAR to mean that the return has been handled (opened, looked at — but not processed or reviewed). They had to check eligibility & amount for EIP.

Just wanted to let people that haven’t been updating know there is light at the end of the tunnel.

For anyone waiting unknown on mailed cheques, I would recommend the Usps app, there is an option called informed delivery. It takes 24 hrs to start working but it will email you daily screenshots of your incoming mail. You’ll know before it’s delivered that it’s on the way at least

Yes this is based off of ‘19 tax returns. (18 was a joint return with my ex husband) I was a tt user that had prep fees taken out of my return.

I had to enter bank info into the gmp tool. My agi is 23k with 4 dependants

Go to the irs.gov and view account. You will need to create an account and it’s not that easy. You will need a student loan, credit card number and some other forms of verification. I believe when I made my account a few years ago I used my auto loan number. You also have to have a cell phone in your name prepaid phones won’t work. Once you get your account then you go to view tax record and it will have transcripts of previous years including 2019 if you have filed already.

If my portal changes tmrw with a ddd then the change of the as of date means something. Obviously for a few of us they were in our accounts no reason to be in mine unless it’s regarding stimulus. There is no deadline to enter your DD info..that only applied to SSI/SSDI recipients WITH QUALIFYING DEPENDENTS. in order for them to claim the extra $500 they needed to use the tool provided otherwise they would miss out on the extras. My mother is a recipient and she has no dependents so she did not have to update.

I have a theory….so they say the cut off is Thursdays to receive payment the following week but the portal came out two days early so I don’t think they had planned on issuing dds this week. Well I wanna know why mine isnt updating my income was 23,000 I updated the dd wed morning at 6am and people that make alot more then me have dates and I’m stuck in limbo. According to irs if u put ur dd in by thursday you’ll get it the following week. Well where is my ddd?

As for my 19 return it is; still processing a refund date will be provided when available 🤦🏽‍♂️ So that’s 2 big check me my wife and 4 kids are waiting to be deposited when they have the dates available. Ive been filing our taxes the last 7 years And we get our taxes every year what time every year been a different experience some years smooth and fast and some years like this well let’s just say I’m happy I don’t owe them over $10 grand and work like them

Everybody situation different I had to update my DD Last Wednesday the 15th due to 18 return getting amended and me getting a DD and then a mailed check from the amended return which had no account attached to it of course Mailed check/amended return right

It looks like the USA got tired of all the complaints. People were calling and messaging everyone who would listen. I read a bunch of them some were so ungrateful and down right rude. I am not referring to this forum im speaking out in the twittersphere. It’s obvious that no one has the answer. Let things catch up. Please just relax and breath. with any rejects/returns/problems then correcting and updating Saturday to the Mass File and also with weekly processing accounts that updates every Saturday to be resent or mailed as check for the following Wednesday. That’s why they say update by Thursday to be on the following week wave The only non processing day for daily accounts only accounts processed on Thursday are weekly accounts that are updated Saturday with the Mass File

My guess they took a daily account processing approach to the stimulus package payments Processing Friday,Monday,Tuesday and Wednesday with DD updates taking place Wednesday morning like for all daily accounts to go out Friday being as tho that seems to be the day they Been rolling them out

The first payments started hitting on Friday April 10th and the people who received with no way form or fashion of having any knowledge they would be getting the stimulus. Even the ones who logged in on the 15th to see that was due a stimulus that day and it was according to income

I have the same exact scenario. Updated my bank account Wednesday morning as soon as it came up. Nothing since except waiting on a date.

I was locked out the first day the portal was up , uploaded Bank info the very next day (Thursday?) …. Now I’m eligible and waiting. Hopefully we are getting it the wave. I haven’t heard of anyone with eligible message getting an update so far. Fingers crossed for a Monday update and Wednesday deposit

No changes yet, just the “check back for your deposit date” message as it has been since Weds.

The hold up at this point is most of us still waiting had confusing refund paths – fees owed to JH, HR, ETC or advances that caused out refunds to go to 3rd party accounts before coming to us.

The scale and numbers are too large for a quick fix. 1/2 of us will get a DD Wednesday, the rest will get a paper check by the following Wednesday

Fingers crossed for Wednesday deposit on this. Rumors of update by Monday. I’ve heard and seen every theory debunked nearly (such as sending it by income etc). But if we had our info in I see no reason we wouldn’t get our deposit in this next batch.

Same for me. I updated through Get My Payment around 6am Wednesday. Never locked out. Just says when they have a payment date they’ll put it on that page.

Same here. Updated Wednesday around 4:40AM PST and have been able to check it every day since. Correct bank info. No DDD.

I also updated my DD info Wednesday morning, then I got locked out until this morning – probably because I was/am impatient and didn’t wait a full 24 hours before trying to get my status again… I ended up waiting until this morning to check again and was finally able to get in, but it still just says I’m eligible and the funds would be sent to my bank but to check back for the deposit date.

I updated my DD early Wednesday morning as well. I seen the msg saying im eligible and they would send to the bank info I gave them. Logged in today to see that they are mailing me a check on the 24th. Not sure why they have that tool to update DD if they arent going to use it. I am frustrated. Have bills to pay.
