So this year I filed with Jackson Hewitt for deposit on serve card. I did not receive my stimulus today so I went to the get my payment portal. It said I’m eligible for the payment and I entered my bank account info. It also had me enter my 2019 tax info which is being processed still.

I figured if anyone else had to do this we could update on here

This will be my first year of my last 7 years self preparing my taxes I will have had to go through my Congress I called tax advocate and been unsuccessful for 2 weeks I called My Congressman Late afternoon yesterday and today got back to me I filled everything out online with uploads of my hardship and they said they will contact IRS today and also still no update on stimulus either

I wander if all the ppl who still don’t have a update are just higher in income and will have to wait a few weeks to get one. I did read on several different websites about the irs/treasury going from the lowest to highest income.so if that is the order they are going it could be a longer wait for some. Who knows though

I got my refund to an amex serve card after filing through JH with an advance.

I updated my bank info first thing Wednesday and got locked out for checking too often.

Finally got back in today to find out I will have a check mailed 4/24

I think the issue is that the IRS tried to DD the same way as refund time , so it was sent to republic or SBTG

Unfortunately I think many of us are in the same boat. At least I know when it’s coming

If you updated your DD info on the portal using the same turbo debit card, cash app, it anything metBank it’s been a pattern of getting a check instead of DD.

It says if u input ur dd by or on Thursday of the week u will get ur dd the following week

Something just don’t add up right they haven’t mailed off checks yet so people put in dd info they should get dd n no damn check or maybe it’s going by filling status n shit like that.. but we need answers n can’t get em.

Just an update for those that like updates.. On Wednesday I entered my dd info to get my payment.. i had been locked out of get my payment from wed until today. Now it shows a check will be mailed 4.24.20.

The exact same thing happened to me. I updated my DD info, and was given the message that my money would be sent to my account. Today I checked it said a check would be mailed on 4/24. I’m super confused, they really threw this crap together and it shows because that whole GMP system is trash. JS

I just was reading it says if u logged into get my payment to check status n it said need more bank information n u put in bank information n it said u will receive dd to that account that’s true but if it said ur getting a check mailed to u it’s cause however u filled they had already sent funds there and it got sent back or rejected.

I updated my DD Wednesday morning. I also went with cashapp, it said I am eligible, they would use that bank acct and would update with a deposit date once available. Checked this morning and it is saying a check will be mailed on the 24th. What is the point of having a tool that doesnt work? Why make people set up a bank account when it doesnt matter in the long run? I am frustrated I have kids and bills to pay. :(

I spoke to a lot of people and they said after irs accepted new dd info and said stimulus check would go to the updated dd account that the system locked them out.. so maybe they are just processing out payment

If u are married and filed together and u have been locked out of the system under ur ssn then u can use ur partners ssn to check the status of ur return

I was able to log in just a few minutes ago .. no updates but at least it showing that my pay will go into my bank which makes me happy. It now a waiting game I feel today or tomorrow we should see an update !! 🤞 good luck you all

I updated my direct deposit Wednesday, was locked out all day Thursday and today it still says that im eligible For the payment and that they have my updated info. Will give a date when updated. It’s just the waiting game now.

Also, my husband and I filed married-jointly for 2018 but this year we filed separately and he has already received his stimulus based on his 2019 return. So even if I try to look up my info using his SSN it pulls up his stimulus that has already been sent. At this point I’m just confused. It’s not working with info from 2018 or 2019 for me. I get passed the ssn, dob, and address screen then try to put in my bank and tax info and it doesn’t work.

But what if the refund amount is literally $0? I’m not getting back anything on my 2019 returns. They are still being processed. I tried yesterday and I got locked out. I know if you have $0 return and check WMR it makes you put $1 because the system doesn’t recognize $0. I tried putting $1 on get my payment, and that didn’t work either.

I read it wrong thinking it was saying how much owed and kept putting 0. It ended up locking me out for 24hrs. I haven’t received my refund yet but I put in the refund amount and it finally worked.

Was locked out the IRS portal but noticed my tax packet from Jackson Hewitt had two 1040s with two different AGis, so I’ll give it a shot again once at 7 and if it doesnt work the firs time Ill go to the Jackon hewitt office,,,,

I’m wondering if I am suppose to put in the amount my business owed before deducting the business expenses. When I put in 0 I am taken to the technical difficulties error message screen. At this point I have reached the threshold for checking my payment status. I will have to try again tomorrow.

They are trying to verify identity so go by info you submitted.

Looks like a lot of us with pending reviews had the same issue. I entered in my 2018 info since my 2019 return still isn’t processed. It told me that my information didn’t match. So I reentered the info again. It errored again then locked me out. I used my wife’s info, using our 2019 tax return info, then it processed accordingly. So those who are locked out, you can still get your bank info processed on the site today, you just need to use your 2019 tax return and your spouse’s SS# and DOB.

Oregon Gal it should. My wife and I filed joint. Had to update my dd this morning and I did it under my social, then After when I entered my wife’s info/social to update hers it was already updated with same bank account I added under my name, so they’re connected. If that makes sense lol.

I had to do the same, updated bank account on the GMP tool after TT fell through. Did it around 9am EST. I did read Mnuchin said when you update on the GMP you should get payment within several days, so fingers crossed it’s sooner than later. Some people speculate we’ll get it as early as Friday, others say next Wednesday. Let’s keep in touch.

Why do I keep getting the technical difficulties message after entering my information. When asked for refund or owed amount I am entering 0 for refund received. My 2019 tax return is still being processed based on “where’s my tax refund” tool. Now I can’t log in at all because I’ve used my maximum allowed times for today and will have to try again in 24 hours. *ARGH*!!

using my bank for direct deposit and for some reason I had to take this additional step as well. I will update as to what the where’s my payment says and when it’s deposited.
