It is that time of year again. It doesn’t seem like tax season can get anymore stressful, yet hear we are, in the middle of a, seemingly, never ending pandemic. The IRS has pushed the start of tax season into February, YIKES! So, what does that mean for tax returns subject to the PATH Act? It really shouldn’t delay anything this year, little to no impact, I would imagine. The widely accepted “Mid-February” date is the 15th, tax season opens on the 12th, the following Monday is the 15th, also a Federal Holiday, so, perhaps, instead of having to wait weeks for any word, this will be our year, we will see swift and positive movement. I have already filed, so I am in the waiting pool right now. Good luck to you all, may the IRS process and approve our refunds quickly.
