Anybody have anything??? These people are slow as molasses!!

      Filed 1-24, accepted 1/25

It used to show “it has been received, allow 30-45 days for processing”

Not it is saying to allow 6-8 weeks.

      Anyone have any info??

I don’t see a credit and I filed 1/12/16 and was accepted 1/15/16 and my message went from 30 days and now it says 6-8 weeks I usually get my state before my federal but I guess not this year.

@MSJ It usually takes 2-3 business days for the credit to be refunded. But the good news is that it’s processed and the refund is approved. Just watching for a batch process to refund the credits.

I filed on 2/2 and my credit was there today 2/5.

I see the credit with the message that says 6-8 processing time. I am hoping it will post tomorrow.

My status changed Feb 3rd and stated DDD for Ga is Feb 4th. I got my refund today. It did take longer than it normally does.

                              Hi Bill,
Have you checked the Georgia Department of Revenue Tax Center (https://gtc.dor.ga.gov/_/ )? (Not the GA WMR tool). You can see more progress in there by logging in to your tax account. It will show the status of the return (if it’s been received) and when it’s been processed you’ll see a credit balance on your tax account before they actually process the refund. Hope that helps.
                              S.

I’ve been getting the samething, hopefully thats good…..but from my personal experiences, I’ve never gotten my State before Fed….so MAYBE and thats a big Maybe, thats a sign that the state is actually completed and approved. But they (GA) wont release a DDD until the Fed is approved. And if thats the case, your Fed return maybe ok, because if not then they would do a review on both (for offsets) and you woyld get a different message or nothing at all…..Seriously just a theory…..im waiting too….??????????????????????????????????????????????????????

Yeah…I keep hearing people getting their state back before federal so I was kind of hoping to be one of them.

However, my status changed yesterday saying 6-8 weeks.

Last year my state came a week or more later than my federal. I received my federal around now and it was probably 10 days later my state came.
