      I filed using tax act on 1/8/16 and then I received an email with the message my return was rejected with this message;
      Rule Number: FW2-502
      Rule Number Description: The Employer Identification Number (EIN) entered on Form W-2, Copy 1, does not match the IRS e-file database. Click on Federal, Wages and Salaries, Wage income reported on Form W-2. Click Review next to the W-2 you need to correct. If the EIN entered matches what is on your paper W-2, you will need to contact your employer for the correct EIN.

      Has any one else seen this?

          Talked with Taxslayer. They said that the IRS and them are working on the problem. The system hasn’t updated the new amount and will keep kicking those returns back out to give about a week to week and a half to fix. Personally, I’m hoping sooner!!

            I filed and got rejected with F1040A-372-03 stating to fix our return for the savers credit. Said ”

            I got rejected with 1040A-372-03
            “Detailed summary for the IRS reject code:
            If Form 1040A, Line 34 ‘RtrSavingsContributionsCrAmt’ has a non-zero value and Line 2 checkbox “Married filing jointly” is checked (element ‘IndividualReturnFilingStatusCd’ has the value 2), then Line 21 ‘AdjustedGrossIncomeAmt’ must not be greater than 60000. ”

            AND this year it can’t be greater then $61,000. Apparently the IRS hasn’t updated their system yet to acknowledge the correct amount. I’m just stuck!
